In the modern era, the intersection of technology and humanities has become increasingly apparent, shaping our lives in profound ways. This融合 is not just a matter of convenience or efficiency, but a critical aspect of our cultural and intellectual development.浙江省,a province rich in history and culture, has always been at the forefront of innovation and progress. The 2022 Zhejiang Provincial College Entrance Examination English essay topic, "The Fusion of Technology and Humanities," invited students to explore the intricate relationship between the two fields and consider their impact on society.**英文部分:**The essay begins by acknowledging the remarkable advancements in technology that have transformed our world. From the rise of the internet and social media to the development of artificial intelligence and virtual reality, technology has opened up new horizons of possibility. However, it is not merely the gadgets and innovations that matter; it is the way technology intersects with our values, beliefs, and cultural heritage. In Zhejiang, this intersection is particularly evident. The province's rich cultural heritage, including itsancient villages, beautiful landscapes, and vibrant art forms, has been preserved and enhanced throughtechnological means. For instance, virtual reality technology has allowed people to experience the grandeur of the West Lake or the charm of ancient villages without physically being there. This not only preserves cultural heritage but also makes it more accessible and engaging for younger generations. Moreover, technology has also revolutionized the way we learn and educate. In Zhejiang, many schools anduniversities have embraced digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning. This has not only made educationmore interactive and engaging but has also preparedstudents for a future where technology will play a pivotal role. However, the fusion of technology and humanities is not without its challenges. The rapid pace of technological change can sometimes outpace our ability to understand and adapt to it. This can lead to a disconnect between technology and society, where the former advances rapidly while the latter lags behind. To address this, it iscrucial that we cultivate a new generation of thinkers and innovators who are not just technically proficient but also have a deep understanding of human values and culture. In Zhejiang, this is being achieved through a combination of traditional and modern educational approaches. The province's universities and research institutions are fostering an environment that encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration between technology and humanities scholars. This interdisciplinary approach is yielding innovative solutions to complex problems, such as the use of artificial intelligence to preserve cultural heritage or the development of sustainable technologiesthat harmonize with local culture and traditions. In conclusion, the fusion of technology and humanities is not just a trend or a fad; it is a necessary andinevitable aspect of our evolution as a species. Zhejiang, with its rich cultural heritage and innovative spirit, is at the forefront of this movement, leading the way in exploring the infinite possibilities that lie at the intersection of technology and humanities. As we move forward into a future where technology will play an even more prominent role, it is crucial that we remember the importance of maintaining a balance between technology and humanities. Only then can we create a world that is not just technologically advanced but also culturally rich and spiritually fulfilling.**中文部分:**在当下社会,科技与人文的交融已变得日益明显,深刻地塑造着我们的生活。

浙江英语高考作文获奖续写范文(英文)As an English student in Zhejiang, I am delighted to share my experience of winning the English essay contest held recently in my hometown. The topic of my winning essay was “The Future of Digital Technology in Our Lives.”After receiving the award, I was overwhelmed with gratitude, but also with a sense of responsibility to continue exploring and reflecting on this important topic. The feedback I received from the judges was that my essay demonstrated a clear understanding of the subject matter, as well as a unique perspective that was both thoughtful and well-argued.Now that I have had some time to reflect on my victory, I realize that my success was due in part to my diligent research and preparation, as well as my ability to synthesize complex ideas into a clear and persuasive argument. But more importantly, I believe that my essay was successful because it resonated with the audience, reflecting their concerns and hopes for the future of technology in our lives. In terms of what I would do differently next time, I would suggestinvesting more time in understanding the topic at hand, exploring its nuances and complexities. I would also aim to present my ideas in a more creative and visually appealing way, utilizing images and infographics to enhance my essay.Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunities that this experience has opened up for me.

English:As the student who had stumbled upon the abandoned building, I felt a mixture of fear and curiosity swirling inside me. The dilapidated structure loomed before me, its darkened windows seeming to hold secrets from another era. Despite the warning signs plastered on its walls, I couldn't resist the urge to explore further. Stepping cautiously over debris, I entered the musty interior, the air thick with dust and the echoes of forgotten footsteps. Each creak of the floorboards beneath my feet sent shivers down my spine, yet I pressed on, drawn deeper into the mystery of the forsaken place. Suddenly, a faint glimmer caught my eye from the corner of the room, leading me to a hidden compartment obscured by years of neglect. With trembling hands, I pried it open, revealing a trove of forgotten treasures: old photographs, letters yellowed with age, and a journal bound in cracked leather. As I flipped through the pages, the stories of those who had once inhabited this place unfolded before me, their hopes, dreams, and fears preserved in faded ink. In that moment, I realized that this abandoned building was more than just a crumbling relic of the past; it was a repository of memorieswaiting to be unearthed, a testament to the passage of time and the resilience of the human spirit.

Emma and Max exchanged nervous glances before steeling themselves and stepping inside. The hallway was musty and cold, with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and dust swirling in the air. They could hear faint whispers and footsteps coming from somewhere deeper within the mansion, urging them to go further. As they ventured further into the mansion, they came across a hidden staircase leading down into the basement. Well, let's see what happens next. After weeks of hard work and dedication, Lily's English grades started to improve. She was so happy and proud of herself. Her teachers and classmates also noticed her progress and praised her for her efforts. Lily's parents were also very proud of her and encouraged her to continue working hard. One day, Lily's English teacher announced that there would be a speaking competition at school, and the winner would receive a special prize. Lily was excited but also nervous. She had never participated in a speaking competition before, but she decided to give it a try.Lily practiced every day, speaking in front of the mirror and recording herself to improve her pronunciation and fluency. On the day of the competition, Lily was nervous, but she took a deep breath and stepped onto the stage. If you work hard and stay positive, you can achieve great things. I hope you enjoyed my continuation of the 2021 Zhejiang Province English exam essay. Thank you for listening!篇3Oh my goodness, I can't believe I have to write a continuation of the 2021 Zhejiang Province English exam essay! Well, here goes nothing...So, in the previous part of the essay, we were talking about the importance of protecting our environment and how we can all do our part to save the planet. I think it's super important forall of us to understand that we only have one Earth, and we need to take care of it.One way we can protect the environment is by reducing our use of plastic. I know plastic is convenient, but it's also really bad for the environment. Did you know that it can take hundreds of years for plastic to break down? That's why we should try to use reusable bags and water bottles instead.Another thing we can do is to plant more trees. Trees help to clean the air and provide homes for animals. Plus, they look so pretty! I think we should all plant a tree in our backyard or at school.Lastly, we should also try to save water. Water is a precious resource, and we need to make sure we're not wasting it. We can do this by taking shorter showers, fixing leaky faucets, and turning off the tap when we brush our teeth.Overall, I think if we all work together, we can make a big difference in protecting our environment. We should all do our part, no matter how small it may seem. Let's all be eco-warriors and save the Earth!Okay, that's it for my continuation of the 2021 Zhejiang Province English exam essay. I hope you liked it! Bye for now!篇4Hey guys, remember that super cool English exam we had in Zhejiang Province last year? Well, guess what, I'm going to continue the story for you! Here it goes:So, after we finished the reading section of the exam, we all took a deep breath and moved on to the listening part. The speakers in the audio clips sounded a bit funny at first, but we quickly got used to it and put all our focus on listening carefully and answering the questions. After the listening section, we had a short break where we could stretch our legs and grab a snack. Some of us were feeling a bit nervous, but we all encouraged each other and shared some jokes to lighten the mood. Then came the writing section. We were given a few different prompts to choose from, and I decided to write a story about a group of friends going on a hiking trip. I tried to include lots of details and use some fancy vocabulary to impress the examiners. Finally, we finished the exam and handed in our papers. We all felt relieved and proud of ourselves for making it through such a challenging test. And you know what? I'm pretty sure we all aced it!Overall, the English exam in Zhejiang Province was a tough but fun experience. We all learned a lot and improved our English skills. Can't wait to see what next year's exam will be like!篇5Hey guys, do you remember the Zhejiang Province English test we took last week? I'm sure you do because it was so tough! But guess what? We have to write a continuation of the essay for the 2021 exam. So, let's get started!Last week, the essay prompt was about a group of students going on a camping trip and getting lost in the forest. We had to write about how they found their way back to the campsite. So, in the continuation, we can talk about what happened after they found their way back. After the students finally found their way back to the campsite, they were so relieved and grateful. They all sat around the campfire, sharing stories about their adventure and laughing about the funny things that happened along the way. They realized that they had become closer as a group, and they were thankful for the experience despite getting lost.As they sat around the campfire, they roasted marshmallows and sang songs together. They talked about how they hadlearned to rely on each other and work as a team to overcome obstacles. They knew that they would always remember this camping trip and the bond they had formed through their shared experience. In the end, the students realized that getting lost in the forest was actually a blessing in disguise. It had brought them closer together and taught them valuable lessons about teamwork and resilience. Well, guess what? My adventure is not over yet! Let me tell you all about it.So after I finally found my way out of the dark forest, I stumbled upon a beautiful meadow filled with colorful flowers and chirping birds. It was like a dream! I felt like I was in a fairytale. But my adventure was not over yet. Suddenly, I heard a rustling in the bushes. I was a little scared at first, but then I saw the most adorable little fox peeking out at me.The fox led me through the meadow and into a hidden cave. Inside the cave, I found a treasure chest filled with shiny jewels and gold coins. I couldn't believe my luck! But before I could even touch the treasure, a wise old owl flew in and told me that the real treasure was not the gold and jewels, but the friends I made along the way.I realized that he was right. 续写A Vacation with My MotherI had an interesting childhood. It was filled with surprise and amusement, all because of my mother---loving, sweet, yet absent-minded and forgetful. One strange family trip we took when I was elven tells a lot about her.My two sets of grandparents lived in Colorado and North Dakota, and my parents decided to spend a few weeks driving to those states and seeing all the sights along the way. As the first day of our trip approached, David, my eight-year-old brother, and I unwillingly said good-bye to all of our friends. Who knew if we would ever see them againFinally, the moment of our departure arrived, and we loaded suitcases, books, games, camping equipment, and a tent into the car and bravely drove off. We bravely drove off again two hours later after we’d returned home to get the purse and traveler’s checks Mom had forgotten.David and I were always a little nervous when using gas station bathroom if Mom was driving while Dad slept: “You stand outside the door and play lookout 放哨 while I go, and I’ll stand outside the door and play lookout while you go.”I had terrible pictures in my mind: “Honey, where are the kids ”“WhatOh, Gosh…I thought they were being awfully quite.”We were never actually left in a strange city, but we were not about to take any chance. On the fourth or fifth night, we had trouble finding a hotel with a vacancy. After driving in vain for some time, Mom suddenly got a great idea: Why didn’t we find a house with a likely-looking backyard and ask if we could set up tent there David and I became nervous. To our great relief, Dad turned down the idea. Mom never could understand our objections反对. If a strange family showed up on her front doorstep, Mom would have been delighted. She thinks everyone in the world is as nice as she is. We finally found a vacancy in the next town. Paragraph 1:The next day we remembered the brand-new tent we had brought with us.Paragraph 2:We drove through several states and saw lots of great sights along the way. 1. The sunset cast an orange light over the lake and glorified the green grass, which attracted us immediately. Having greeted our neighbors, we began to set up our brand-new tent. However, out of our expectation, the sleeping bags were missing. Yes, my mother forgot to pack up them. My parents had to turn to our neighbors for help. To our surprise, a neighbor offered their spare bags, making us able to spend the night in our tents.Paragraph 2:We drove through several states and saw lots of great sights along the way. One fall, my wife Elli and I had a single goal: to photograph polar bears. We were staying at a research camp outside “the polar bear capital of the world” —the town of Churchill in Manitoba, Canada.Taking pictures of polar bears is amazing but also dangerous. Polar bears — like all wild animals — should be photographed from a safe distance. When I’m face to face with a polar be ar, I like it to be through a camera with a telephoto lens. But sometimes, that is easier said than done. This was one of those times. As Elli and I cooked dinner, a young male polar bear who was playing in a nearby lake sniffed, and smelled our garlic bread. The hungry bear followed his nose to our camp, which was surrounded by a high wire fence. He pulled and bit the wire. He stood on his back legs and pushed at the wooden fence posts.Terrified, Elli and I tried all the bear defense actions we knew. We yelled at the bear, hit pots hard, and fired blank shotgun shells into the air. Sometimes loudnoises like these will scare bears off. Not this polar bear though — he just kept trying to tear down the fence with his massive paws (爪子).I radioed the camp manager for help. He told me a helicopter was on its way, but it would be 30 minutes before it arrived. Making the best of this close encounter(相遇), I took some pictures of the bear.Elli and I feared the fence wouldn’t last through 30 more minutes of the bear’s punishment. The camp manager suggested I use pepper spray. Thespray burns the bears’ eyes, but doesn’t hurt them. So I approached our uninvited guest slowly and, through the fence, sprayed him in the face. With an angry roar(吼叫), the bear ran to the lake to wash his eyes.

The months of preparation, late-night study sessions, and last-minute revisions all culminated in those few hours of intense focus. I couldn't help but replay the questions in my mind, analyzing my answers and wondering if I had done enough to secure a good grade. But more than just the outcome, the experience of sitting through the exam gave me a sense of accomplishment. It was a test not only of my knowledge and skills but also of my perseverance and ability to handle pressure. The Importance of Critical Thinking。
As an educator, I have always emphasized the importance of critical thinking in education. Critical thinking is a vital skill that students need to develop in order to succeed in their academic and professional lives. In today's fast-paced and complex world, the ability to think critically is more important than ever. In this article, I will discuss the significance of critical thinking and provide some strategies for educators to help students develop this essential skill.First and foremost, critical thinking is important because it allows students to analyze and evaluate information effectively. In an age where information is readily available at our fingertips, it is crucial for students to be able to discern between reliable and unreliable sources, and to critically evaluate the information they encounter. Critical thinking enables students to question assumptions, consider alternative perspectives, and make informed decisions based on evidence and reasoning.Furthermore, critical thinking fosters creativity and innovation. When students are able to think critically, they are better equipped to generate new ideas, solve complex problems, and think outside the box. This is particularly important in today's rapidly changing world, where the ability to innovate and adapt is highly valued. By developing their critical thinking skills, students can become more creative and resourceful individuals, capable of tackling the challenges of the future. In addition, critical thinking is essential for effective communication. When students are able to think critically, they are better able to articulate their thoughts and ideas, andto communicate them clearly and persuasively. Critical thinking enables students to construct well-reasoned arguments, to listen actively to others' perspectives, and to engage in constructive dialogue. These communication skills are invaluable in both academic and professional settings, and are essential for success in the 21st century. So how can educators help students develop their critical thinking skills? One effective strategy is to incorporate critical thinking exercises and activities into the curriculum. For example, teachers can encourage students to engage in debates, discussions, and problem-solving tasks that require them to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information. Additionally, educators can provide students with opportunitiesto practice critical thinking in real-world contexts, such as through project-based learning, case studies, and research projects.Furthermore, educators can foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking by promoting open-mindedness, curiosity, and intellectual humility. Teachers can model critical thinking skills by asking thought-provoking questions, challenging students' assumptions, and providing constructive feedback. By creating a culture of inquiry and exploration, educators can help students develop the mindset and habits of critical thinkers. In conclusion, critical thinking is an essential skill for students to develop in order to succeed in today's world. It enables students to analyze and evaluate information effectively, fosters creativity and innovation, and enhances communication skills. Educators play a crucial role in helping students develop their critical thinking skills by incorporating critical thinking activities into the curriculum and fostering a classroom environment that promotes open-mindedness and inquiry. By prioritizing the development of critical thinking skills, educators can empower students to become independent, analytical, and creative thinkers who are well-prepared for the challenges of the future.。

Getting rid of dirt, in the opinion of most people, is a good thing. However, there is no thing fixed about attitudes to dirt.In the early 16th century, people thought that dirt on the skin was a means to block o ut disease, as medical opinion had it that washing off dirt with hot water could open up t he skin and let ills in. A particular danger was though to lie in public baths. By 1538, the French king had closed the bath houses in his kingdom. So did the king of England in 15 46. Thus began a long time when the rich and the poor in Europe lived with dirt in a frie ndly way. Henry IV, King of France, was famously dirty. Upon learning that a nobleman h ad taken a bath, the king ordered that, to avoid the attack of disease, the nobleman sho uld not go out.Though the belief in the merit (好处) of dirt was long-lived, dirt has no longer been re garded as a nice neighbor ever since the 18 century. Scientifically speaking, cleaning awa y dirt is good to health. Clean water supply and hand washing are practical means of pre venting disease. Yet, it seems that standards of cleanliness have moved beyond science since World War II. Advertisements repeatedly sell the idea: clothes need to be whiter th an white, cloths ever softer, surfaces to shine. Has the hate for dirt, however, gone too f ar?Attitudes to dirt still differ hugely nowadays. Many first-time parents nervously try to warn their children off touching dirt, which might be responsible for the spread of diseas e. On the contrary, Mary Ruebush, an American immunologist (免疫学家), encourages ch ildren to play in the dirt to build up a strong immune system. And the latter (后者) positi on is gaining some ground.(原创范文,仅供参考)One possible version:People have mixed opinions towards dirt on our skin. (要点 1 ) For a long time in histo ry, people of some European countries, such as France, believed that dirt protected peop le from getting ill. (要点 2 ) However, people began to change their attitudes to dirt abou t 200 years ago. People have been told that washing dirt off our body can keep us health y. (要点 3) However, some scientists believe that exposure to some dirt may help our im mune system. However, there is nothing fix ed about attitudes to dirt. Different people have different attitudes towards di rt. Different people have different attitudes towards dirt on the skin. 1“People have mixed opinions tow ards dirt on our skin. ”概括非常精炼。
2.第二段主要谈到了在16世纪,人们认为dirt on the skin was a means to block out disease,尤以英、法两国的贵族为代表。
Though the belief in the meri t of dirt was long-lived, dirt has no longer been regarded as a nice neighbor ever since 1 8 century.
2 “For a long time in history, people of some European countries, such as Fra nce, believed that dirt protected people from getting ill.”
3. 第三段用Though引出人们对dirt观点的转变“…since the 18th century. Scien tificall y speaking, cleaning away dirt is good to health.” 3“However, people began to change their attitudes t o dirt about 200 years ago. People have been told that washing dirt off our body can kee p us healthy.”4.
4“However, some scientists believe that exposure to some dirt may he lp our immune system.”
(三) 关键词汇第一段:fixed (确定的;不变的) 第二段:means (手段,方法), block out (挡住), op en up (打开), upon (……
