• 在商务书信中常用的有cargo liner,cargo ship,cargo vessel, freighter, freight ship,motor ship,steamer,tramp steamer, vessel等。常使用英语缩写形式。“货轮” 的标记可以是S.S或s.s或SS或S/S都是 steamship的缩写。有时使用MS或M.S表示， 意为“Motor Ship”指内燃机船或柴油机船， 也可各类现代化的货轮。
• 5。按货物重量或尺码或价值，选其中收费 较高者计运费，用“W/M or ad. val.”表示。 • 6。按货物重量或尺码选择其高者，再加上 从价运费计算，以“W/M plus ad. val.”表 示。 • 7。按每件为一单位计收 • 8。临时议定的价格（open rate）。由承、 托运双方临时议定的价格收取运费，多用 于低价货物。
附加运费

班轮运费计收标准
• 1。按货物重量（weight）计算，以“W”表 示。 • 2。按货物尺码或体积（measurement）计 算，以“M”表示。 • 3。按货物重量或尺码，选择其中收取运费 较高者计算运费，以“W/M”表示。 • 4。按货物的价格收，以FOB价收取一定的 百分比作为运费，称从价运费，以“AD VALOREM”或“ad. val.”表示。

• 关于船名的表达，需要注意五点。 • a，如果是外籍船舶，沿用外语原名，如 S.S. “Fortune”，不易译成“幸福”、“财 富”等异化名称，查阅国际船期公告很不 方便；如果定要汉译，也要附上英语原名。 • b，如果是中国船舶，采用汉语拼音，如 “粤海铁1号” “Yue Hai Tie 1 Hao”，不 易自做主张译为“Guangzhou－Haikou Railway No. 1”，否则结果同上。
• c，文本环境下大写首字母即可，如“泰山” 轮 应当写作 S.S. “Taishan”. • d，船舶名均用引号，如上述各例 • e，汉语中"该船","此船”或“它”指代，英 语中应使用she或her。
Bill of Lading提单
• Bills of lading (B/L) is a document given by a shipping company, representing both a receipt for the goods shipped and a contract for shipment between the shipping company and the shipper. It is also a document of title to the goods, giving the holder or the assignee the right to possession of the goods.

租船运输
• 不定期船运输。没有固定的船舶班期，也 没有固定的航线和挂靠港。 • 1）定程租船(voyage charter, tip charter) • 2）定期租船(time charter) • 3）光船租船(demise charter/bareboat charter)
