实验五 ASSIGNMENT 1

一、实验目的

1. Develop the ability of analyzing DFDs to understand the system

2. Enhance the capability to analyze problems and solve the problems

3. Train student to prepare documents

二、实验内容和步骤

The following level 0 Data Flow Diagram represents the procedure of a student enrolling in seminars carried out at a University.

(a)Draw a context diagram of the University Seminar Enrolment system based on the given level

0 diagram to document the system inputs and outputs.

operates (please answer in point form). Note: try to avoid answers like: the 1st process sends data flow to 2nd process etc.

Applicant offers form to the 1st process, inspects and forms, which receives student information from the DS1 and check the form, and if the forms is invalid, the process will send back the form to the applicant, otherwise the 1st process sends validated forms to 2nd process.

The 2nd process, input student information, receives the validate forms from the 1st process, and sends the student information to student DB. Then the 2nd process sends the student record to the 3rd process.

The 3rd process receives student record from the 2nd process, and sends the enrolments to the DS2, and then accepts every student’s schedule from the DS2. Finally, the third process sends the seminar list to the 4th process.

The 4th process, collect fees, receives seminar list from the 3rd process and accept the payment from the applicant, then it sends the fees to the DS3(financial DB),and when the DS3 deals with the data flow, it feedbacks the transactions to the 4th process. Then, the 4th process sends the dealed payments to the DS4, and receives the payment information. Finally, the 4th process offers the fees credence.
