They play an important part in our daily life.We can use it to deal with our affairs easily. And mobile phones are the most popular. But some students in our school also have mobile phone. I think it is not good for students to have a mobile phone. On one hand, it will use money. On the other hand, it will bad for the students to have lessons. They can’t concentrate on their lessons. What do think about it? 2The telephone is one of the most welcome and useful inventions. no wonder more and more families have got to use their own telephones today. The telephone makes things easy in many ways. especially, after the mobile telephone appears, communication becomes easier and rapider. to students and people going out for business far away from their homes, the telephone can shorten the distance between them and their families. Thus they will get comfort whenever they are homesick or they run into trouble. with the help of the telephone, people can keep in touch with anyone at any time and in any place for urgent help. All in all, the telephone is so helpful that we can say that nowadays we can not live without the telephone in our daily life. we will further improve the performance of the telephone so as to create better conditions for its development. 3Telephones in Students' Dorm Rooms. For students who have so long suffered from inadequate public telephones on campus, standing in a long queue waiting to make a call is past memory. Thanks to the new system of installing telephones in every dorm room, now students can make and receive calls without stepping out. Students are beneficiaries(受益者).Telephones have surely made students'life more convenient. While they can reach their families and friends more easily, the students can also be contacted by teachers and schoolmates as quickly as possible. For students who are far away from their families, to dial in and dial out has shortened the distance between their beloved parents and their lonely hearts. But the significance goes far beyond simply making telephone calls. Indeed, it has provided college students with greater access to the information superhighway. With computers and telephones in dorms, students can get wired and surf whenever they want. Although telephones may be a disturbance as well as an indirect cause of quarrels, students find it is nothing important compared with its potential eonvenienceg Listenm dorms are ringing to the sound of telephones. 4The day before Mother’s Day, everybody around me was talking about what gift would they buy to their beloved mothers. Buying flowers is what most students will do, others buy chocolates. While for me, I want to do something different, as I live in sch ool and can’t go back home on Mother’s Day, I decide to make a call to her, sending her my warmest wishes.I am so nervous now and have no idea what to say. I searchthe Internet for some suggestions, it is very useful for me, many wonderful words are presented in front of my eyes. I read them one by one. As I decide to copy these words, suddenly I feel there is no meaning for saying someone else’s words. So I give up, I will tell my mother that I love her and thank you for the things she has done for me. 5The TelephoneThe telephone is one of the most welcome and useful inventions. No wonder more and more families have got to use their own telephones today. The telephone makes things easy in many ways.Especially after the mobile telephone appears communication becomes easier and rapider. To students and people going out for business far away from their homes the telephone can shorten the distance between them and their families. Thus they will get comfort whenever they are homesick or they run into trouble. With the help of the telephone people can keep in touch with anyone at any time and in any place for urgent help. All in all the telephone is so helpful that we can say that nowadays we can not live without the telephone in our daily life. We will further improve the performance of the telephone so as to create better conditions for its development. 6Communication is very important both in the past and at present, and it tends to be more essential in modern society. Telephone and letter are two main means of communication, and they both have their advantages and disadvantages.Communication with other people by telephone is very convenient, especially when you have something urgent. For example, if one of your family members is seriously ill at night, and you don't know how to deal with it and where to find a doctor or a taxi. A telephone is the answer. Dial 120 and you will get services from the doctor very soon. In addition, with the quick rhythm of life, people usually don't have as much time to write letters as before, again telephone solves the problems. Friends can chat through the wire. It seems that telephone shortens the distance between people. Men can keep in touch with each other more easily. However, still some people prefer writing letters to communicate with friends. First, sending a letter is much cheaper than having a telephone call. Second, people can not only greet each other but also exchange their thoughts in letters. Because when a person writes, he must organize his mind and express his ideas and feelings more logically, while telephone often makes people lazy. Finally, people easily keep secret in the letter and say whatever you want to say, while they sometimes can't do that in a telephone. In my opinion, you can combine these two ways together: some unimportant things can be expressed by a telephone, while some important or unspoken things can be done by a letter. 7It would be difficult to imagine modern life Without the telephone. It has become an indispensable instrument of communication, saving much time and travel by enabling people to talk to one another over great distances.Nowadays it Is just about as easy to talk across a continent, or even overseas, as it is to talk across a continent, door neighbor. However, it is in emergencies that the telephone really process its usefulness. When there is a fire, or when someone is suddenly taken ill, the first thing one thinks of is ‘Where is the nearesttelephone?’ so that help can be summoned. 8I was tired with preparing for the Joint College Entrance Examination the other evening. And having been alone for several hours, I was eager to have someone to chat with me about anything but examinations. So I telephoned my best friend Mary, who was also busy preparing for the joint entrance examination. On the telephone, I told her that I missed her very much. And I invited her to have a cup of coffee with me in a coffeehouse near her home. But to my surprise, she declined and said that she had to devote all her time to her studies. Hearing this, I could do nothing but hang up after saying “Sorry” to her. Disappointed and discouraged, I turned back to my desk and reluctantly buried myself again in my books. 9The telephone is an amazingly useful machine, and very easy to use, but believe it or not, people don't always use them effectively. Because we're busy and focused on ourselves, we often use our phones in a manner that's helpful for us, but not necessarily for everyone else.Hopefully you know a few of the basics, such as keeping your phone volume low, or on vibrate, resisting the urge to use them during meetings or training sessions, and of course, refraining from personal texting while at work. For personal texting, it's best to give yourself one or two times per day. You'll step away from your work, say, outside, or in a cafeteria, and then engage your personal texts. Those are obviously important, but what I really want you to think about is how you interact and respect the person withwhom you're speaking. And that begins before you even pick up the phone. When you hear the ring, grab a pad of paper and pen, so you can be ready to take needed notes without causing a delay while you look around your desk. Before saying "hello," I want you to smile, and choose to be positive. How you feel will be sensed by the person on the other end of the phone, so smile and make a positive impression. Finally, during the call, remember to never interrupt the person. Interrupting tends to be viewed by everyone as a sign of disrespect. If you're very busy and facing a huge deadline, you can shape the call when it's your turn to speak, for example, by telling them you need to get back to them, but then, do suggest a specific time. Of course, if you're honestly not able to talk, you probably shouldn't have answered the call, unless it's your boss, or a person you're expecting an important call from. 10A mobile phone has no wires and call be carried about in your pocket or your bag. It is smart. If you need to ring someone, you just press the numbers and the phone will connect you to the right number. You can take it with you wherever you go.A cordless phone also has no wires. It can be useful in the office or the factory. Imagine that you are working in an office and a suctomer calls you asking for some information. If you have a cordless phone, you can carry it with you and look up the information that your caller wants. In other words, you can walk to a distant part of the office or factory to check the information without putting the phone down. One new model has lately been developed for business people. With this phone, you do not have to look up the number of the percon you want to ring. The phone has a small computerin it. You say the name of the person you want to ring. The phone recognizes the name and then dials the corret number. You can record up to 20 different names on this kind of phone. If you are a person who offen forgets people's tele phone numbers this could be the phone for you. However you have to remember their names. 11With the development of science and technology, mobile telephone becomes more and more popular. Even the students on campus begin to use mobile telephone. Is it a good or bad thing?Mobile telephone , on the one hand, is good to the students. For one thing , it enables them to keep in touch with their friends and family more conveniently and quickly. For another, it can make the students fashionable and proud. On the other hand, mobile telephone has a negative effect on the students. First , it will cost them more money than before. Second, it will distract them from their study. Third, it will sometimes become a nuisance especially when it rings in class or in the library. In my opinion , it is not good for the students on campus to use mobile telephone . Since the students’ main purpose on campus is to study , they should pay much attention to their study. If they want to use mobile telephone , they can use it after graduation. 12Advantage and disadvantage of college room-mates sharing one phone in dormitory. This is of course from different point of view, from user side, it is most preferred that one can has his own phone extension forconvenience, especially for those feature phones that work under centralised PABX (Private Automatic Branch eXchange) you can leave short message, voice mail, and can make conference call between parties. The disadvantage is then from the colleage management that such expansion in extension lines will cost a lot of moeny and therefore should be avoided unless they have got funding enough to do endless investment. 13It would be difficult to imagine modern life Without the telephone. When there is a fire, or when someone is suddenly taken ill, the first thing one thinks of is ‘Where is the nearest telephone?’ so that help can be summoned. 14Frank has just got off the train in the evening. He wants to call one of his friends to pick him up at once.He looks for a while and at last finds a telephone booth. But when he gets there, he sees a lady already in.There are no other public telephones nearby,so he has.to wait. He waits and waits. The lady on the phone is just talking andlaughing. She seems as if she doesn't notice Frank. After about half an hour, the lady puts down the receiver.Frank feels a bit released. She is finished finally,he thinks. But to his surprise, the lady picksit up again, fishes a coin from her pocket and pushes it into the slot."Oh, no!"Frank says to himself."She is making another call." 15Nowadays, almost everyone has a mobile phone. Some people even have two orthree. Mobile phones changes our lives a lot. It’s so easy to get to others.Allyou have to do is making a call. You can talk to anyone no matter how far youare. Making calls and texting messages are the basic functions of mobile phones. But now, we can do a lot of things by mobile phones, such as listening to themusic, watching movies, taking photos, reading books and so on. It’s sofunctional that it seems like a computer to some extent. Some people even dealwith their business by mobile phones. It’s amazing. 16Mother bought me a receiver, I loved him very small small, he is lovely, the phone shell is black, waterproof, prevent fall off, the key is white, press the lock button, the button will emit blue light, in the dark of opaque, can also use a mobile phone. This phone 12 cm long, 4 cm wide, cell phone with 2 cm behind the dragonfly pattern, was hanging over phone a 4 cm long pig doll, very cute, he is my learned electronic organ for one semester to get small gifts.Mother said: 'you have this phone, even distracted and I also can find as soon as possible, the one we are always inseparable. 'but you don't want to do with your mobile phone is no meaning, have to do is to do useful. Phone also quietly said to me: 'yes, now you want to study well. 'Whenever I go to bed ten, mobile phones to do better on the head of a bed in the morning, I sleep late is that mobile phonewill be a "ding ding ding ding ding" cries, when I was almost late for school, he will find the "ding ding ding ding ding" voice call I go to school.I am very huan mother gave me the phone, like the small, like the lovely. I will take care of it, to protect the my favorite mobile phone. 17Recently,short messages become more and more popular with both the young and the old.People accept the convenient way of communication and some even cannot live without them.As to the easons why so many people are in favour of the short messages,in my opinion, there're three points.First, it can save time if you want to inform your friends of something in one or two words by sending a short message.By comparison with letters or email, short messages are really more quick for others to receive you as the mobile phones are always with them.Second, short messages cost less than making a phone call.Third, people who are not very familiar with each other can chat by short messages more easily, through which more and more people can know of others and become friends. However, nothing that is perfect exists in the world.Short messages also have some disadvantages with them. Some people cheat or fool others by telling them that they have won some prizes through short messages. Also, taking advantage of people's ignorance, some websites charge a good deal of expenses form short messages.Above all, short message is product of the hitech nowadays. It will serve us very well if we make proper and full use of it. 18From the cartoon given above, we can observe that there aremany people crossing the street. Instead of looking at the way, they are staring at their, cell phones and using walking sticks to see. It is obvious that they are fascinated with cell phones while even ignore their security. We learn from the cartoon that cell phones have been increasingly widespread in people's life.Cell phones are of great benefit to all of us. One of the most obvious advantages is that we can contact with our friends and relatives more conveniently than ever before. However, it is mobile-phones' advantages that lead some people to overuse or be addicted to them, which tends to exert a negative impact on our life. For example, oversusing cellphones will reduce face-to-face communication among people. It seems that most of us enjoy the convenience of contact at the expense of interpersonal relationships. Moreover, entertaining electronic games, magnanimous information and a bewildering variety of social networking tools in mobile phones have occupied much of our time. Information distribution tools and social networking tools, in particular, have attracted all of our attention, which tempts us to keep our eyes on the screen around the corner of every second. Then, do not expect us to talk with the people around us, we don't have time! This, has resulted in a phenomenon of "alienation between acquaintances and familiarity between strangers".Science and technology and modern tools should be served as an "angel" to improve our living strandard, rather than a devil to disturb our normal life and communication. Just imagine, live one day without mobile phone, will you be relaxed? Or anxious? 19As can be seen from the charts more and more people own mobile phones in China now. At the end of 2002, there were 20million mobile phone users. By the year 2005 the number has reached up to 30 million. People have found mobile phones very convenient. They can get in touch with each other whenever and wherever they like. There are many different functions to meet different needs, such as sending short messages and surfing the Intemet. However, it may also bring us some trouble. For example, if someone calls you by mistake, you will have to pay for this kind of unnecessary calls. And the radiation from the phone may do harm to our health, In spite of this, the number of people having mobile phones is still increasing steadily. 20With the fast development of technology and the improvement of pe ople’s life standard, the increasing number of mobile phones has become more high-end but available. As the most convenient communication tool, mobile phone has been a wide-used tool in our lives It has helped us save much time and resources when it provides convenience for us in communication at the same time For example, students can use mobile phone to look up the electronic dictionary and read e-books whenever and wherever possible, as well as look glance over many news and information every day For instance, many students use mobile phone to play games or read novels day and night and cannot concentrate on their studies. In my opinion, any kinds of products have advantages and disadvantages. 21Nowadays, almost everyone has a mobile phone. Some people even have two or three. Mobile phones changes our lives a lot. It’s so easy to get to others. All you have to do is makinga call. You can talk to anyone no matter how far you are. Making calls and texting messages are the basic functions of mobile phones. But now, we can do a lot of things by mobile phones, such as listening to the music, watching movies, taking photos, reading books and so on. It’s so functional that it seems like a computer to some extent. Some people even deal with their busines s by mobile phones. It’s amazing. 22In recent years there has been a dramatic rise in the cell phones, which are now essential to millions of people as a convenient form of munication. In 2004 the number reached 315,000,000, with an average annual increase at 57,500,000.Some people can now no longer imagine life without their cell phones. The fact that they are so popular proves that they are useful and convenient. Cell phones enable people to easily and quickly municate with one another; wherever you are, you can instantly reach somebody. Cell phones eliminate thetrouble of not being able to meet someone in person, and therefore increase business's efficiency.Mobile phones necessarily also harbor disadvantages. The radiation such phones emit is hazardous to one's health. Furthermore, if people bee too reliant on the use of cell phones, our face to face skills may decline. Any new invention has its drawbacks, and such negative aspects cannot always diminish its popularity. Despite the negative effects of television, for example, the number of people who own televisions continues to grow at a tremendous rate. This is also the case with mobile phones. People won't stop eating just because of the risk of choking. In addition, the swift development of science and technology will likely eliminate thehazards cell phones may cause. One can safely predict, therefore, that with the introduction of new techniques, mobile phones will have more applications and bee even more appealing to customers. 23It is often said that smartphones have made our lives easier. Thanks to these handy devices, we can take our work with us anywhere. However, this isn’t necessarily a good thing.A recent survey found that two-thirds of office workers continued to work on their smartphones outside office hours. These so-called “screen slaves” are glued to their smartphones on the way home and at home. This can lead to health problems. For example, using a smartphone on the train or sofa can cause back and neck pain. What’s more, looking at a small screen for a long time can cause vision problems. In Taiwan, there was even a man who lost the use of his index finger because he played games on his smartphone for up to six hours a day. People who use their smartphones too often also complain of headaches, increased stress, and losing sleep at night. So perhaps we need to learn to be less dependent on our smartphones, and put them down once in a while.。

China has witnessed a remarkable transformation in the realm of payments, thanks to the widespread adoption of mobile payment systems. These systems, led by Alipay and WeChat Pay, have revolutionized the way people conduct financial transactions, reshaping the economic landscape and societal norms. The rise of mobile payments in China can be traced back to the early 2000s, when the country's tech giants started exploring innovative ways to leverage the growingpopularity of smartphones. By leveraging advanced technologies like big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, these companies created mobile payment platforms that were not just convenient but also secure and efficient. One of the key factors driving the adoption of mobile payments in China is the widespread ownership of smartphones. Almost every individual in the country owns a smartphone, which has enabled the rapid spread of these payment systems. Furthermore, the integration of mobile payments into daily life has been seamless, with merchants, government agencies, and even street vendors accepting mobile payments.Another significant factor is the trust that consumers have placed in these mobile payment platforms. Through years of reliable service and严格 compliance with data privacy regulations, Alipay and WeChat Pay have earned the trust of millions of users. This trust has been further strengthened by the introduction of innovative featureslike QR code payments, in-app payments, and peer-to-peer transfers. The impact of mobile payments in China has been profound. It has not only made financial transactionsfaster and easier but has also led to a significant reduction in the use of cash. This has had a ripple effect on various industries, including retail, transportation, and healthcare. By providing access to financial services to those who were previously excluded, mobilepayments have empowered millions of individuals, especially in rural and underserved areas. This has led to increased economic activity and social well-being, further strengthening the position of China as a global leader in mobile payments. In conclusion, the mobile payment revolution in China has transformed the way people live and conduct business. It has not only made financial transactions more convenient but has also fostered innovation, economic growth, and financial inclusion. As the world increasingly moves towards a digital economy, the experiences and lessons learned from China's mobile payment revolution provide valuable insights for other nations to emulate and adapt to their own contexts.**中国移动支付的革命**中国移动支付的普及和广泛应用,推动了这个国家在支付领域发生了显著的变化。

1Mobile Payments Are Super Cool in China!Hey everyone! I'm going to tell you all about how awesome mobile payments are in my country, China. It's really neat because you can pay for stuff pretty much anywhere just by using your phone! No need to carry around a bunch of cash and coins. Let me explain how it works. In China, we have these payment apps on our phones called Alipay and WeChat Pay. They're made by big tech companies Alibaba and Tencent. To use them, you just link your bank account or credit card to the app. Then whenever you need to pay for something, you just open the app, scan a QR code, and boom - paid!Mobile payments are literally everywhere here. Like if my mom and I go to the grocery store, she can just scan a code to pay for all the food instead of using cash or her card. Same thing if we're taking the subway or bus - we scan a code to pay the fare. You can even pay that way for street food from little vendors! It's so convenient because you never have to make sure to bring enough cash. Your phone is all you need to carry. I use mobile pay all the time to buy snacks, drinks, stationery, toys, you name it. Whenever my classmates and I go somewhere after school, nobody brings a wallet. We just use our phones to pay.My grandparents even use it even though they aren't very tech savvy. As long as they can scan the QR code, they can pay digitally. No more worrying about carrying cash or credit cards. It's safer too since you don't have to pull out money in public.Mobile pay is seriously so convenient that cash is becoming sort of obsolete. Lots of small businesses don't even accept cash anymore - just mobile payments. People joke that if you try to pay cash somewhere, the workers won't know what to do with the bills and coins!China was really one of the first places where mobile payments took off in such a big way. I think a few reasons for that are:The mobile pay apps are just really user-friendly and integrated into everything. You can use them to pay bills, transfer money, order food delivery, and more. So they become indispensible.China has a huge population and most people have smartphones now, so the market is massive. The mobile infrastructure with 4G/5G is very developed compared to some other countries. The apps give incentives like coupons and rewards to keep people using them.In big cities, some people don't even carry wallets or purses anymore. Our phones are our wallets! There are downsides too though. Some people worry about cybersecurity and privacy with these huge apps collecting so much data. And a few places still only take cash for certain reasons. But overall, mobile payments have really revolutionized how we spend money in China. It's just SOO convenient to be able to pay for anything from a snack to a plane ticket just by clicking on your phone. No more counting out cash or carrying wallets and change purses everywhere. Two simple apps cover pretty much all your payment needs. I can't imagine life without mobile pay anymore!Whenever relatives from overseas visit China, they are always shocked at how little cash we use. I remember when my aunt came from Canada, she kept trying to pay with bills andcoins. We had to keep reminding her to just scan the QR code! It's a totally different world from when she grew up.I'm so used to this now that when I travel to other countries, I really miss the convenience of mobile payments. Having to carry a wallet and cash again feels so outdated. Paying with my phone is just the norm for me and my friends. We never have to ask "Do you accept mobile pay?" because the answer is always yes in China. In fact, mobile payments have become so widespread that they are starting to replace even credit/debit card use in many situations. Why bother pulling out a plastic card to pay when you can just do it from your phone? Between Alipay and WeChat Pay, they have such a huge share of the payments market in China. Pretty much every store, vendor, website, etc accepts them.I can definitely see mobile payments continuing to expand all over the world like it has in China. It's just so much more modern and efficient than traditional payment methods. No need for cards that can be lost or cash that can be stolen. Just a few taps on your smartphone and you're all paid up!I feel pretty lucky to have grown up in a time and place where this technology is the norm. Using mobile pay every day has shown me how quick and seamless payments can be. I can'twait to see how these types of payment systems keep evolving to become even more convenient and secure.Maybe one day we'll just be able to wave our phones in the air to pay for stuff, no scanning needed! Or maybe our phones will automatically pay for things as we walk by using facial recognition. As long as mobile pay keeps making transactions easier, I'm all for the future of payments being mobile. Thanks for reading, and give mobile pay a try if you haven't yet - it's seriously the best!篇2Mobile Payments Are Super Cool!Hi, my name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about mobile payments because they are really neat! Mobile payments let you pay for stuff with your phone instead of using cash or cards. Isn't that awesome? In China, we use mobile payments for everything! My parents pay all our utility bills like electricity and water on their phones. We also order food delivery and buy groceries right from apps. Whenever we go shopping, my mom just scans a QR code to pay. She never has to carry a wallet or purse anymore. My favorite thing to use mobile pay for is buying snacks and drinks! There are vending machines everywhere that take mobile pay. I just scan the code and get my yummy treat. No coins needed! I also use it to buy stuff online like stickers, toys, and books. My allowance money goes right onto my parents' payment apps.Using mobile pay is so easy. The apps have these funny cartoon mascots that walk you through everything step-by-step.I really like the animations they use - they make sending money feel like a game! My grandma who doesn't read well can still transfer money to us by just recording her voice instructions. My school accepts mobile payments too for things like field trips, lunch money, and fundraisers. Mom doesn't have to send me with cash anymore. Speaking of school, we even use mobile pay there sometimes! A few of my classmates forgot to bring their lunch money once, so the teacher let them pay her through the app then get their meal tickets. How cool is that?Mobile pay is really safe too. My dad uses fingerprint and facial recognition to log into the apps, so no one can hack his account. The apps also have special filters for kids' accounts like mine with limits on how much I can pay. Mom and dad can check where my money is going. There are two main mobile payment apps that everybody uses - WeChat Pay and Alipay. WeChat is a messaging app that also lets you call people, kinda like FaceTime. You can access their payment part to pay friends, businesses, or make donations. Alipay is from a website called Taobao which is kind of like Amazon for online shopping. The two apps work at most stores and restaurants. My friends and I think mobile pay is the coolest! We can easily share costs for birthdays or trips without bothering our parents for money. If one person pays first, you can just transfer your share to them in seconds through the app. No more owing people!Grown-ups use mobile payments for bigger things too though. My uncle runs a furniture business and he gets payments from customers through mobile apps. My aunt is a tutor and parents pay her lesson fees on her phone. Even taxis and public transit prefer mobile pay now over cash.China has become basically cashless because of how popular and convenient mobile payments are. You can access them anytime and anywhere as long as you have your phone. Small neighborhood stores and street vendors all take mobile pay inaddition to big chains. Lots of people panhandle by displaying QR codes to collect digital donations. There are some funny stories about how much China loves mobile payments too! Once there was a street performer who only accepted mobile payments. A foreigner tried handing them cash and the performer shouted "We don't use cash here anymore!" China has smartphones and QR codes setup in rural areas now just for mobile pay use.I've heard mobile payments first became a hit about 10 years ago. Companies gave out lots of free money and coupons to get people to start installing their apps. Now billions of transactions happen on mobile pay daily! The apps make money by charging tiny fees per payment or through advertising and investments.Mobile payments have definitely made life easier for my family. We don't need to withdraw cash as often or carry coins and cards everywhere. My grandparents can send us money online quickly. If I ever lose my phone, I'm sure my parents can deactivate the payment apps right away.Of course, nothing is perfect - sometimes the apps have service interruptions or glitches. There are also concerns about data privacy and payment security. But overall, mobile pay is incredibly useful and popular across China! That's mobile payments in a nutshell! I'm so lucky I get to grow up using this amazing technology. Maybe you can try mobile pay yourself if it's available where you live. It sure makes paying for stuff a breeze. Thanks for reading my essay - let me know if you have any other questions!篇3Mobile Payments are the Best Thing Ever!Hi, my name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about how awesome mobile payments are in China. They are seriously the coolest thing ever and have changed my life! Let me explain why I love them so much.First of all, they are just so convenient. My mom and dad never have to carry around a bunch of cash or coins anymore. All they need is their smartphone. Whenever we go out to eat, shop, take the bus, or do anything really, they can just scan a QR code with their phone and pay instantly. So slick! And get this - even kids like me can use mobile payments! My parents have set up accounts for me on apps like Alipay and WeChat Pay. They transfer me a little allowance money each week. Then when I want a snack at school or need to pay for something, I don't need cash. I just get the vendor to scan my QRcode on the app and it takes the money right out of my account. How cool is that? Here are some of my favorite things about using mobile payments:No need to carry coins or bills that could get lost or stolenSuper fast to pay - just scan a code and you're doneGet fun rewards and discounts through the appsEasy to track what you're spending money onParents can monitor and control how much you spendMy friends and I think physical cash is for old people! We're the mobile payment generation. Why would you want to use dirty old coins and paper money when you can just wave your smartphone?Seriously, mobile payments have taken over China in the biggest way. Stats show that last year, mobile payments totaled a mind-blowing 347 trillion yuan! That's about 50 trillion US dollars! Chinese people use their phones to pay for pretty much everything - food, transportation, shopping, utilities, entertainment, you name it.The two biggest mobile payment apps are Alipay and WeChat Pay. Alipay is really popular - over 1 billion people use it in China and other countries. You can use it to pay for things online and in stores, transfer money to friends, pay bills, book travel, and more. WeChat Pay is part of the super app WeChat that everybody uses for messaging too. Between those two apps, they've got mobile payments covered! It's just so normal now to use your phone to pay rather than cash. Old people in China had to adjust to the new mobile payment culture, but us kids are natives! We grow up just assuming that's how you pay for stuff. Physical wallets seem like an ancient artifact to us.I remember one time I was with my grandma and she tried to use cash to pay for something. The cashier looked so confused, like "Why are you giving me that old thing?" That's how ubiquitous mobile payments have become here. There are QR codes to scan for payment everywhere you look in China - at restaurants, stores, taxis, subway entrances, street food stalls, and even with some panhandlers! Vendors readily accept a couple of yuan transferred to their mobile payment account.Mobile payments have definitely changed everyday life in so many ways, big and small. For example, it's way easier to split costs with friends now. If we go out for lunch, rather than having to calculate Change and stuff, we can just pay the total through the app and then split the cost evenly and transfer each other's portion instantly. So simple!Or another example - Chinese New Year. Before mobile pay, you had to make sure to get a bunch of new crisp bills to hand out in red envelopes for lucky money. Now, we just open the app and transfer lucky money electronically with a few taps. Boom, done! One interesting impact of mobile payments is on tipping culture. Since it's so frictionless to transfer small amounts through your phone, tipping for services has become more commonplace in China than it used to be. If a delivery person brings your food, you may give them a couple of yuan through the app for their effort. Same for hotel staff, hairdressers, etc. Then there's haggling and negotiating prices, which is a real cultural tradition in China. With cash, it was always such a hassle to get the right change and small bills. But with mobile pay, haggling has gotten easier since you can just punch in theagreed price on your phone and transfer it to the vendor accurately.Another cool thing is how mobile payments have allowed new business models to develop. For instance, you can rent pretty much anything by scanning to pay - shared bikes, umbrellas, portable chargers, etc. Since payment is effortless, it's enabling all these different mini-economies and convenience services.Of course, mobile payments aren't perfect - there are downsides too. Some people worry about privacy with so much personal data being collected by apps. There are also concerns about things like fraud, money laundering, and how it might hurt banks since people don't need them as much. But in my opinion, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Mobile payments have made life in China so streamlined, efficient, and easy. That's why they've been able to rise to total dominance in just a few years. For me personally, being part of the mobile payment generation just makes me feel modern, smart, and independent. Instead of nagging mom and dad for cash, I can handle my own money through the apps (with their supervision of course!). I'mdeveloping good financial skills and habits at a young age. This is the future! Some of my friends who have gone to other countries complain that they feel lost having to go back to using cash and cards for payments after getting used to the mobile system in China. To them, other places feel stuck in the past age of ancient payment methods! Imagine that?I feel really proud that China has been the global leader in developing and adopting this advanced mobile payment technology. We're showing the rest of the world what's possible. I'm sure other countries will eventually catch up and go cashless too. But China will always be the true original mobile payment kingdom.Okay, I've probably gone on long enough. But I just love mobile payments so much! They've revolutionized my everyday life experience. Thanks to these genius apps, my childhood is just a seamless tap-and-go existence. No more clunky physical money weighing me down! The future is mobile, and it's already here in China.篇4Mobile Payment in ChinaHi everyone! My name is Li Ming and I'm a 5th grader at Sunshine Elementary School in Beijing. Today I want to tell you all about how mobile payments are used in China. It's really cool!In China, we use our phones to pay for stuff everywhere we go - at restaurants, stores, parks, taxis, and more. My parents almost never use cash anymore. Instead, we pay with our mobile phones by scanning QR codes or using mobile apps. It's so convenient! The two biggest mobile payment apps in China are Alipay and WeChat Pay. My mom uses Alipay and my dad uses WeChat Pay. They both work pretty much the same way. First, you download the app and link it to your bank account or credit card. Then you can use the app to quickly pay for things by scanning a QR code or hitting a few buttons. For example, let's say my mom and I go to the fruit篇5Mobile Payments are Super Cool in China!Hi there! Whether you're buying snacks, clothes, toys, or even riding the subway, people just scan a QR code to pay with their mobile wallet app. It's just so convenient! Two of the biggest apps for mobile payments are Alipay and WeChat Pay. Alipay is run by the Alibaba company, which has this huge online shopping site called Taobao. WeChat Pay is part of the WeChat messaging app that everybody uses to chat with friends and family. Pretty much every store and vendor accepts at least one of those payment methods.I remember when I was really little, my mom and dad used to always carry around a bunch of cash and coins to pay for groceries and things. But now they never need cash anymore! All they have to do is unlock their phone, open the payment app, scan the QR code shown to them, and presto - paid in just seconds with a tap. No more fumbling around with coins and bills.Mobile payments make it super easy to send money too. Like if I need to pay my buddy back for splitting a comic book, I can just fire up the app and zap the money to his account immediately. Or when I get money from my grandparents for my birthday, they can send it straight to my mobile wallet instead ofgiving me a physical red envelope with cash. Digital red envelopes are a big thing for Chinese holidays!Speaking of which, during the Lunar New Year holiday it's tradition to give out little red envelopes with money inside as gifts, kind of like a cultural version of a Christmas bonus. Well now people send each other digital red envelopes via mobile payment apps - it's so much simpler than having to hand out physical envelopes to everyone. And stores actually hide cash in their payment QR codes as a fun giveaway, so you can get lucky and win some bonus money just by scanning to pay! How cool is that?Mobile payments are seriously everywhere here. Beggars on the street have QR codes that you can scan to give them a few cents. Buskers and street performers do too. Taxis and ride shares have QR codes up front to just scan and pay without needing cash. Heck, even the person who picks up recyclables has a QR code sticky-taped to their cart!At school, we use a mobile payment app to pay for snacks and drinks from the cafeteria. We can also use it to pay fees for field trips and special events. My mom monitors my spending and tops up my allowance using her phone. I'm never going to lose my lunch money, because it's safely loaded on an app!Mobile payments make selling stuff super easy too. Like last year for Children's Day, my class had a fun little marketplace where we sold crafts, treats, toys and games we had made ourselves. Nobody had to bring cash or coins, we just displayed a QR code and people could pay by scanning it on their phones. We raised a bunch of money for the school that way!Another really neat thing is something called a "unified QR code." Basically, merchants can display one QR code that works with all the different mobile payment apps, so customers don't need to ask which one is accepted. The code automatically routes the payment through whichever app you prefer. How convenient is that?Of course, there are some downsides to mobile payments too. For example, if your phone runs out of battery or you don't have signal, then you can't pay! And there's always the worry of getting your phone hacked or stolen. But overall, the pros definitely outweigh the cons in my opinion. It's pretty mind-blowing just how quickly mobile payments took over in China. Just ten years ago, nobody used them at all. But nowadays, they're straight up ubiquitous. Literally every shop, restaurant, taxi, or street vendor accepts mobile payments as anormal way to pay. Even my grandparents who can barely operate a smartphone do it!I can't imagine having to carry around cash and coins everywhere like they did in the old days. Having a digital wallet on your phone is just so much more streamlined and easier, especially for us kids. We're honestly the first fully cashless generation in China! So that's the lowdown on how mobile payments are taking over my country. From transferring money between friends to paying at stores to receiving red envelopes during holidays, our smartphones have become esperante ral digital wallets for the modern age. I bet mobile payments are going to become just as huge everywhere else in the world before too long. They really are the money of the future!Anyways, that's all I've got to say on this topic. Writing this essay has made me pretty hungry, so I'm going to go pick up a jianbing (Beijing-style crepe) from a street stall nearby. Of course, I'll be paying the jianbing vendor with my mobile wallet - cash is sooo 2010s, am I right? Thanks for reading, and stay cool!。
