情景：中国游客向夏威夷旅游局驻华的工作人员咨询旅游内容事宜，请为他们口译。Officer: Good morning, Madam! Can I help you? //

中国游客：我想在春节假期里和家人去夏威夷旅游，特地来咨询一下当地的情况。现在中国是冬季，我有些担心夏威夷的天气会不会太冷？//

Officer: The temperature in Hawaii ranges from 28-31 degrees Centigrade throughout the year.

It’s a little warmer in summer and a little cooler in win ter, but in this month the weather

is quite fine. //

中国游客：天气看来不错，那么当地有什么适合家庭参与的活动呢？//

Officer: If you have some interest in marine life, I would recommend you and your family go snorkeling. //

中国游客：夏威夷什么地方最合适潜水呢？//

Officer: It’s at Hanalei Bay, just north of the National Historic Park. There you will see a lot of colorful fishes and other marine life. //

中国游客：太棒了！最后一个问题，我看到你们的服务手册上将夏威夷称为“阿罗哈岛”，这是什么缘故呢？//

Officer: Because “Aloha” is the most popular word used by the local people to greet tourists. It means “hello” or “love” in English. People are very friendly to each other in Hawaii as
