Lesson 11 Food in China 教案
一、教材分析
1. Teaching content:(教学内容)
(1) New words: online, especially, treasure, end, product, worth, taste, tru e, once (2) learn the meaning of passage. (3) Learn to praise something or somebody!

(1) Master the new words.
(2) understand the meaning of text.
(3) Learn to praise something or somebody!

Master the new words and understand the meaning of text.

三、教学步骤
Step 1. Analysis of the student.
We know that our country has a long history, and we have rich culture. In the Silk Road, we learned this, but, what else do we know about our coun try?
Step 2. Lead in.(引入)
Greet the students in English and make sure they can response correctly.
Then check the homework, make sure the Ss understand last lesson and master the new words.
Step 3. New lesson
No.1.Teach the new words and expressions: online, especially, treasure, end, product, worth, taste, true, once Write them on the blackboard Then demand the Ss learn the text by themselves first.
No. 2 ask some Ss to answer the following questions: explain what is internet? And what are they doing? What are they talking?
No.3 Teacher shows a big map of China. Every province is marked by their traditional dishes. Teacher first introduces her favourite dish, then ask some students what their favourite dishes are. Encourage them to say something about these dishes.
Listen to the tape,and simply,write down the most important points as quickly as they can.
Listen again.Have a guess what dishes they are talking about. Invite some students to introduce more about them.(Encourage them to use different kinds of adjectives as much as possible.)
No.4 at last, teacher explain the passage, and point the main meaning. No.5 the grammar: be—was/were make—made
No.6: important sentences: praise something.
Everything was great—especially the food! They look good and taste great!
Step 4. Play the tape for the Ss to follow.
Make the Ss listen t he text, then let them read follow the tape.
Step 5.Summary. Sum up the text what we learned, and the new words. Important sentences and the grammar.
Step 6. Homework.(作业)
Finish the activity book and the practice, copy the words. Step 7.Blackbo ard-writing
The new words, the master phrases, important sentences.。
