一.在写作中“较高级词汇”的使用主要是指使用《大纲》上没有的词语、 使用通过构词法变化来的新词、使用同（近）义词或反义词等来代替常见 词语。
1）这栋房子在芳草街的一栋楼上。 A: The flat is in a building on Fangcao Street. B: The flat situates in a building on Fangcao Street. 分析：is in是常见词语，而situates in则是《大纲》上没有的，属于高级词汇。 2）在周末我们做很多作业。 A: At weekends, we have a lot of homework to do. B: At weekends, we have endless homework to do. 分析：B句在表达时没有使用过于直接的a lot of，而是使用了endless。endless就是 由《大纲》词汇end加后缀-less变化来的。 3）洗澡间和厨房都很好。 A: The bathroom and the kitchen are good. B. The bathroom and the kitchen are well-furnished. 在表达要点时，B句使用了well-furnished，这比good语气强，也显得生动。 在造句时，“较高级词汇”如能运用贴切自然，哪怕整篇文章只用上一个，也会使你 的作文显示出与众不同。
3.句式多样，复杂得体。在写作中应避免使用相同长度的相同句型，而 应注意句式的变化，如长短句结合，简单句、并列句与复合句共用，还 可使用简化句等；一些较复杂的结构如独立主格，分词结构等也可使用。 下面的表达中A句简单句多，而且多处使用there be结构，显得单调、 乏味，而米的住房，住房里面有卧室、有洗 澡间、有厨房；卧室里有床、沙发、桌子和椅子等。 A: It's a flat of 25 square metres. There is a bedroom in the flat. There is a bathroom and a kitchen in it, too. In the bedroom, there is a bed; there is a sofa, a desk and a chair as well. B: It's a flat of 25 square metres, with a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. In the bedroom there is a bed, a sofa, a desk and a chair.

写作不是口头表达，要求词汇必须正规正式，所以在写作 时我们要注意使用正式词汇，并表达正式的语气。 建议： ♫避免使用you see, you know, I mean, sort of之类的短语 ♫避免使用缩写，如I’m, we’ll, ihave的误用
由于缺少英语中使动词的词汇，因此在表达使意的时候， 一般都只会用到make和have。也许从语法上来看是正确的， 但是对熟悉英语的人来说就很奇怪，而且如果通篇都使用 make和have来表达，也会使得文章变得很平乏，所以在平时 可以多积累一些表达使义的动词。

如同和汉语写作一样，如果文章中有很多成语或者习语会 让读者感到文字的生动性和感染力。同样，在英语写作中，我 们也可以多运用些英语中的习语和固定搭配，也能使我们的语 言显得更为地道。比如，在表达否定的时候，可以避免直接使 用not，可以试联想词语的反义词来进行代替。

在汉语中，也许句子可以没有主语没有宾语，但是在 英语这个讲求逻辑的语言中，我们需要注意句子中内容的 主谓一致、主语一致、人称代词一致、并列结构一致、时 态一致等问题，从而使得文章的逻辑变得严密，上下文紧 密联系，主题也能得以连贯的表达。

除了表达不同性质的内容外，不同长度的句子还可 以赋予文章那个不同的速度。长句节奏缓慢，短句节奏 明快，长短句的不同还能表达出文章的语调和氛围。
因此在写作中，要适当把握控制句子的长度。不要 连篇都使用长句，使得文章变得沉闷乏味；也不应全部 使用简单句，使文章显得没有深度。

英语词汇量大，表达同种意思的近义词可能有很多，但是 在写作时需要选取最恰当的词语，而不是找个相似涵义的词语 一概而过。而且词语一般都带有自身的感情色彩和表达态度， 因此在选择词汇上还应考虑到这点，例如：
在英语写作中，过渡词是用来表示前后文之间的关系，所以正确使 用过渡词自然可以加强文章中的衔接效果。 ①表示并列：as well as, besides, equally, moreover… ②表示举例：to illustrate, specifically, for instance… ③表示对比：on the contrary, in spite of this, nevertheless… ④表示因果：accordingly, consequently, thus, therefore… ⑤表示顺序：afterwards, meanwhile, eventually… ⑥表示态度：naturally, undoubtedly… ⑦表示总结：in short, to sun up…

由于缺少英语中使动词的词汇，因此在表达使意的时候， 一般都只会用到make和have。也许从语法上来看是正确的， 但是对熟悉英语的人来说就很奇怪，而且如果通篇都使用 make和have来表达，也会使得文章变得很平乏，所以在平时 可以多积累一些表达使义的动词。

如同和汉语写作一样，如果文章中有很多成语或者习语会 让读者感到文字的生动性和感染力。同样，在英语写作中，我 们也可以多运用些英语中的习语和固定搭配，也能使我们的语 言显得更为地道。比如，在表达否定的时候，可以避免直接使 用not，可以试联想词语的反义词来进行代替。
