Unit3 At the zoo

Students of Grade 3 have learned English for not long. So they are full of curiosity and passion. Keeping their interest is very important.

The unit3 AT THE ZOO is not teaching the words about animals. It’s focusing on how to describe animals.The key words of the unit are all adjective words.

Step 1 warm up

Step2 presentation

1 show the pictures,let students guess what it is.

2 lead students to describe animals ,so teach the new words. Step

1 listen and read chorally then individually.

2 listen and do

Step4 extention

Watch a short cartoon.

Step 5 dialogue

Listen and read.

Read in groups give some points to the best group.
