逻辑词

连词是一种虚词，它不能独立担任句子成分而只是起到连接词与词，短语与短语，句与句的作用，使前后文比较连贯。连词在英语中运用较多，我们要特别注意他们的用法和区别，在英语试卷特别是完型填空，阅读理解和书面表达中，要求考生具有把法篇章结构联系起来，

，分析语篇的层次，使各层次之间的语意明确的能力。因此，要弄懂句子的逻辑关系就要熟练掌握连接词的用法，否则就会使文章语意不清，无法构成篇章。完形填空中的逻辑连词由文章内在的逻辑关系决定，只有正确理解以后，才能选择正确的逻辑连词。常见的逻辑连词有：

A 表示转折或让步关系: however, yet, while, nevertheless, in spite of, although，whereas, though 等；

B 表示补充或递进关系：and, besides, in addition, moreover, furthermore, additionally, what’s more , and also, ...as well，more exactly, or rather

C 表示因果关系：owing to , due to , as a result, as a consequence , now that, accordingly, consequently, hence, therefore, thus 等;

D 表示比较、对比关系：in comparison, just as, in contrast, by contrast ,conversely, on the contrary, similarly, in comparison , on the other hand 等;

E 表示逻辑关系：for example, firstly, next, namely, to start with, that is 等。

F 表示举例：for example, for instance, such as, that is to say, namely, like , as follows ,for one thing, for another , to begin with

G 表示结论: all in all , in conclusion, on the whole , to sum up , in a word ,

in short , in brief , to conclude

H 陈述观点：I think, I believe, I suppose, in my opinion, personally , as far as I’m concerned,

I 表示时间的副词：eventually, shortly afterwards, at first , later on , the other day , in the near/ distant future ,
