托福写作的话题分类

很多托福考生也许都或多或少了解，若从形式上来划分托福独立写作的类型，可以分为绝对词型、对比型和隐藏all型三大类;但从话题角度来划分托福独立写作的类型，就远远不止这三类了，通常，托福独立写作按话题进行的分类可分为教育类、技术与进步类、环境类、媒体类、工作与成功类、生活与健康类、交友与友谊类、休闲娱乐类、名人话题类历史与文化类、个人品德类、花钱与投资类共十二类。在这十二类话题中，考点通常集中于教育类、工作和成功类这两类。接下来，我们就来详细阐述一下这两类托福独立写作话题的写法和展示一些高频词汇。

第一类、教育类

教育可分为家庭教育与学校教育两种。在此，以家庭教育为例。

EXAMPLE:

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents should allow children to make mistakes and let them learn from their own mistakes. Use specific details and examples to support your answer.

若采用“平衡法”的写法，则答题关键点在于：父母允许孩子犯错并从错误中学习的这种做法的优缺点各是什么。

1、让步：父母允许孩子犯错并使他们从中学习是有益的：成长自由、培养孩子判断是非的能力、让孩子对错误记得更牢固从而更容易改正、增强孩子独立自主学习的能力。

2、转折：但是，父母应当把握好度，不能一味的任由孩子犯错，不然会有不好的后果：孩子的自制力差，可能会对犯错习以为常，认为犯错是理所当然的;扭曲了孩子的是非观念，对成长不利等。

因此对该话题的考核要求考生在备考过程中须扩散思维，并注重对家庭教育方式的思索。关于教育类的题目还包括：

Improving schools is the most important factor in the successful development of a country.

It is more important for a teacher to help students gain self-confidence than to teach specific knowledge.

It is more important for students to study history and literature than it is for them to study science and mathematics.

第二类、工作或成功

EXAMPLE:

若采用“平衡法”的写法，则答题关键点在于答题：成功在哪个时点更容易，需要进行今夕对比，可以说现在成功不容易，然而，过去成功也不容易。

1、让步：现在成功不容易。理由可以包括：人口众多可机会有限;全球化的进程加剧了竞争的激烈程度;生活压力大(房价、物价飞涨等);有很多暗箱操作的潜规则(latent rules)等等。

2、转折：然后，过去成功也不容易。理由可以包括下列原因：人们受教育的程度普遍较低，很多人甚至都是文盲;农耕社会为主，其他行业寥寥无几，机会稀少等等。

关于工作和成功类的题目还包括：

Most businesspeople are motivated only by the desire for more money.

Good looks and clothing are more important for success than good ideas.

Relating well with other people is more important to future career success than studying hard at school.

Being creative will come up with better solution to a problem than planning carefully.

It is better to have a job or vacation at least one year than to study at college at once for students who just finished high school.

Working at home by using computers or telephones is better than working in the office.
