【新知预习】

根据句意及汉语提示完成单词。

1. My brother is quiet, but my sister is _________ (爱交际的).

2. Can you speak ________ (大声地)? I can’t hear you.

3. There is a writing _________ (比赛) next week. Are you going to take part in it?

4. —________ (哪一个) do you like better, soccer or basketball? —I prefer soccer.

探究1 than的用法：

than连词，意为“比……”,用于形容词、副词的比较级之后，引出比较的对象，并且比较的对象要前后一致。例如：

Mobile phones are very popular now and they are cheaper than before. 手机现在非常流行，而且比以前便宜。

探究2 形容词的比较级变化。

观察这些形容词变比较级的变化tall---taller short—shorter thin—thinner heavy—heavier funny—funnier outgoing—more outgoing good—better 总结形容词变比较级的变化规律：形容词有比较级，一般词尾加er

结尾若有哑音e,直接加r就可以；

辅元辅，闭音节，最后一个字母要双写，然后再来加er

辅音字母加上y，去y变i加er

单词若是多音节，前面要来加上more
