矿产资源是地壳和地表经地质作

用形成的自然富集体，在当今经济技术条件下具有开发利用价值：是呈固态、液态以及气态的自然资源。

Mineral resources are the natural concentrationsformed though geological processes of the earth’s crust and surface. They have value for development and utilization under the current economic and technological conditions. They are solid, liquid and gaseous natural resources.(4分)

Mineral resources, possessing the quality of exploitation value under the current economic andtechnological conditions, are the natural concentrationsjointly processed by the lithosphere (crust) and earth surface. They are the natural resources in the form of solid, liquid and gas.

Mineral resources are natural collectives, formed by the geological function of the crust and the surface of the earth. Nowadays, with the condition of the economy and technology, mineral resources have the value in exploitation and use. They are natural resources in the state of solid, liquid and gas.(乔早早)

我国是世界上少有的几个资源总量大、配套程度较高的矿产资源大国之一。迄今为止，我国已发现矿产171种，有探明储量的矿产158种。矿产地约1800处，其中，大中型矿产地700余处。

China is one of the few countries boasting large quantities of resources and almost all types of mineral resources in the world. So far, we have discovered 171 types of minerals, with 158 having proven deposits. They are about 18,000 orefields, including over 7,000 large and medium-sized ones.

我国的矿产资源总量约占世界的12%，居世界第三位，但人均占有量仅为世界人均占有量的58%，居世界第53位。目前，我国92%以上的一次能源、80%的工业原资料、70%以上的农业生产资料以及30%以上的生活用水来自于矿产资源。

China’s total amount of mineral resources accounts for about 12 percent of the world’s total and ranks third in the world. But our per capita amount only accounts for 58 percent of the world’s per capita quantity and ranks 53rd in the world. At present, over 92 percent of the nonrenewable energy, 80 percent of industrial raw materials, over 70 percent of agricultural means of production and over 30 percent of the water for domestic use in our country come from mineral resources.
