Warming-up 教师通过出示北极熊和企鹅等有代表性的两极动物图片,让学生将其放到正确的地方,从而引出North pole和South pole。

Procedures 1、老师利用课件,向学生展示有关北极的图片,

引出单元核心词Arctic,学生学说并练习词汇。

2、老师利用地球图片介绍句型:What do you

know about the Arctic? Where is the Arctic? Look, the Arctic is here. It is at the North Pole of our Earth.

3、理解并学习词汇:North Pole, South Pole,

Earth.

4、老师提问:What's the Arctic like? 播放录

音及图片,让学生初步感知短文。

5、学生再听一遍短文录音,老师截取文中的关键信息让学生填写,请学生将短文补充完整。如:What do you know about the Arctic?
