从举制度的蜕化看晚清统治危机

摘要

科举制度，我国古代封建社会最重要的制度之一。始于隋朝，形成于唐，完备于宋，强化于明，衰败于清。从公元583年开始科举到正式取消科举的1905年的1300多年中,对我国古代社会在政治、经济、文化等各个方面都产生了巨大的影响。在封建社会的末期，清朝正面临着内忧外患的局面，对内起义不断，对外签署了一份又一份令国人耻辱的条约，在此过程中，一些有识之士逐渐地意识到了应该向西方学习，了解西方先进的种种，认为这一切的根源之一便来自于科举制度。此时的科举制度已是满目疮痍，成为了发展科学文化，改革新制度的一大障碍。也因此，科举制度在清朝末年遭到了废止，从而退出历史舞台。笔者试从科举制度蜕化对晚清政局的影响这一角度来分析其中缘由。

Influences of The Imperial Examination on crisis of governance in the late Qing Dynasty

Abstract

In ancient China , The Imperial Examination was one of the crucial institutions. It started from the Sui Dynasty, forming in the Tang Dynasty, completing in the Song Dynasty, Strengthening in the Ming Dynasty, and declined in the Qing Dynasty. From the year 583 began to formally abolished the imperial examination in 1905 ,it experienced 1300 years of imperial examination ,and on China's ancient society in the political, economic, cultural and other aspects has produced a great influence, Especially in the crisis of governance in the late Qing Dynasty. In late Qing Dynasty ，it was facing the situation of domestic trouble and foreign invasion，for internal had revolts, and for foreign it signed a treaty which made people shame. In this process, some people gradually realized that we should learn from the west, understanding the western advanced variety, they thought of the source of all this came from the imperial examination system. At this time of the imperial examination system had been seen evidence of people's distress everywhere, it has become a big obstacle to development of science and culture and the new system reform. As a result, the imperial examination system was abolished in the Qing Dynasty, in order to exit the stage of history. I will try to analyze the reasons from the angle of the influence of the imperial examination system in the late Qing Dynasty political situation change.
