picture cards of “santa claus” “sleigh” “christmas tree” “gift” “bell”, objests of “star” “christmas stocking”, a christmas tree, some gifts, some christmas hats, trafiic lights(red, yellow, green)

1)let kids master new words: santa claus, star, sleigh, sock.
2)let kids learn to say the new chant of unit7.

k: i’m the weather like today?
k: it’s・・・today.
teacher read the chant and do actions give a demonstration, kids follow the teacher.
7)drill:
when the teacher says “simon says”kids keep quiet, if the teacher doesn’t say“simon says”kids should repeat the sentence.
5)consolidation:
play a game《christmas tree》
if the kisds right, teacher put a gift on the christmas tree. if the kids wrong, teacher put a gift in her bag.
teaching procedure:
1)greetings and review:
teacher and kids sing the greeting song

t: now, answer my questions. 圣诞树/礼物/铃铛how to say?
k: christmas tree/gift/bell.
2)warming-up:
teacher play courseware, ask children listen to the music and sing the song《we wish you a merry christmas》together.
t: speak a word loudly/quietly.
k: repeat a word quietly/loudly.
teacher and kids have a match, who can get more gifts is the winner.
6)learn the new chant:
teacher show picture cards of “star” “sleigh” “sock” one by one, teach new words.

①blowing balloons
②t: do actions s: say the words
③magic fingers
9)ending time
play music again ask kids do actions and sing the christmas song. then invite 3 kids put on the christmas hats give a performance.
8)play a game《traffic lights》
invite 5 kids make a train, when i show red light, kids stop and close their mouth. when i show yellow light, kids stop and say the chant. when i show green light, kids run around me and say the chant.
