The teacher says: Good morning, boys and girls. Are you ready for English class now？Ss：Yes，we are.

T: Very good. Let’s do a guessing game, shall we? Listen to me carefully. I like this season. The weather is cool, windy and rainy in this season. The leaves turn yellow and red. People like to wear sweaters and T-shirts. Which season is it?

Ss: It’s autumn. T: Good job, autumn and fall are the same. I Love autumn, what season do you like best?

Step 2 Discussion and thinking about it.

What festival do you know except Mid-Autumn Festival? Help the students to respond in an appropriate way.

2. what do you know about the Western festivals? What festival is coming soon in Canada? At the time，the teacher plays the power point for the students.

Showing the teaching aims on the blackboard and asking students to read them together.

1.Listen to the passage and correct pronunciation.

2.Listen to the dialogues and tick the correct answers or pictures. (Listening once or three times for finishing off numbe r 2 of Let’s Do It.)
