Nobel’s Will
In his last will, Nobel left most of his property to set up the Nobel Prize. After his death, the will caused a lot of controversy both in Sweden and internationally. His family opposed the establishment of the Nobel Prize, and the prize awarders that he named refused to do what he had requested in his will. It was five years before the first Nobel Prize could be awarded in 1901.

Before that did not set up the Nobel Prize in economics until 1968 , the Swedish central bank, on the occasion of its 300th anniversary ， donated a large amount of money to the Nobel Foundation to set up the Nobel Prize in economics. A Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel has been awarded since 1969. The Board of the Nobel Foundation has subsequently decided that it will allow no further new prizes.

The Prize Award Ceremony takes place on December 10 every year, In memory of the day when Alfred Nobel passed away. An important part is the presentation of the Nobel Lectures by the Nobel Laureates. Under the eyes of a watching world, the Nobel Laureate receives three things: a diploma, a medal and a document confirming the prize amount. The Nobel Prize amount for 2012 is about 1.13 million dollars.
