have promised you. Now, I am writing you this letter to show my

deep/sincere/great/heartfelt regret/apology./It’s very kind of you

now,much to my regret that I may not be able to keep the promise

/I am writing this letter in purpose of expressing my apology

that...I feel terribly sorry about this.
