1、I have long heard of you, as a matter of fact, I referred to your research findings in a couple of my papers during my graduate studies.

1、It is my privilege and great pleasure to host this banquet in honor of vice president and other distinguished guests. I would like to avail myself of this opportunity to extend my warm welcome to you all.
2、Evidently/Obviously, Vice president’s current/present visi t has demonstrated/showed his Excellency’s determination to further enhance the friendly and cooperative relations between our two countries.
3、I’m deeply/firmly convinced that a frequent exchange of visits between the top officials is beneficial not only to the improvement of our relations, but also to the peace and stability of the Asian-Pacific region and the world as a whole.
4、Over the years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, especially after the exchange visits between our premier, we have carried out sincere and rewarding cooperation in political, economic, trade ,cultural,educational and public health.
5、We are greatly satisfied with what we have achieved in these fields, and we are ready to make further efforts with your government to push these cooperative relations to a new height.
6、It would not be possible for this grand reform program to yield successful results if China should be deprived of a domestic environment of peace and development of socio-political stability, of an international environment of peace and development, and of its economic and technical cooperation with other countries.
7、As the largest developing country in the world with a relatively low productivity on a whole, China needs a long-term peaceful international environment and a good neighborly environment in particular to realize its modernization program through decades of arduous struggles.
8、It is our common wish to seek sustained world peace and persistent global economic prosperity.
9、It is in the spirit of safeguarding world peace and ensuring mutual development and prosperity that we have formulated our current foreign policy, so as to promote our friendly relations with any other countries on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.

11、On behalf of all the members of my mission, I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to our host for their earnest invitation and gracious hospitality we have received since we set foot on this charming land.
12、I’m very happy that this visit has given me an excellent opportunity to convey to you and to the people of Shanghai our warm greetings and sincere, good wishes from people of my country.
13、To our great amazement, this country boasts a two-decade persistent economic growth and remarkable changes, which is unequalled elsewhere in the world.
14、China’s miraculous rise as one of the strongest economic powers in Asian-Pacific region has attracted, and will continue to attract, a growing number of finical giants to invest in China, particularly to invest in long-tem project in Shanghai and its surrounding area.
15、It is with this reason that we have come here to seek better ways of promoting our economic and financial cooperation. We are also seeking possibilities of establishing, through partnership with our Chinese colleagues, a joint consultancy firm that will provide services for transnational corporations.

27、Representatives from international organizations of various regions gather together to make a promise that they will take rapid action to eliminate discrimination against women, so that they can quickly join with men to create and share peace and prosperity of the 21st century.
28、Regarded unfortunately as second-class citizens, women in many countries and areas are frequently subjected to discrimination,violence and humiliation.
29、Over the past half-century, men with an honest conscience and women with great courage across the world have made tremendous efforts and,to a large extent, succeeded in enabling the female population, which make up half of the humanity, to gain equal rights with men.
30、Actually, women can undertake any job and have made brilliant achievements in every
profession, in addition to their important responsibility of bearing and rearing children.

1、The boundless expanse of the Chinese territory is dotted with a great many sights of gorgeous and varied natural scenery. Five thousands years of splendid Chinese civilization have contributed the extraordinary enchanting beauty to this poetic and picturesque land.
2、Places of historic interest and scenic beauty across China have become tourist destinations,such as the terror-cotta soldiers and horses in the ancien t city Xi’an, the imperial Palace in Beijing and the beautiful landscape of Guilin, to name just a few.
3、Mount Tai is situated central Shandong Province,extending over 200 kilometers.North of the city Tai’an stands Mount Tai’s highest peak, with a heigh t of 1545 meters above sea level.
4、This mountain impresses visitors with its majestic and precipitous appeal, its summit Yuhuangding overlooking the surrounding valleys and perilous peaks.
5、To reach its summit, we will follow the zigzag and tortuous paths, along which we will feast our eyes on the charming scenery and appreciate/enjoy the ancient architectural works of various styles.
6、Soon we will find a staircase that leads to the south heavenly gate. When we reach the Riguan Peak, looking around in the distance,we will find ourselves carried away in involuntary admiration by the overpowering endless vistas of mountains beyond mountains and scenery after scenery.
7、Mount Tai is a perfect example of the kind of mountain resort that embodies/integrates natural scenery and cultural heritage,boasting/featuring numerous grotesque rock formations,clear waterfalls,age-old pine trees,stone bridge,temples, pavilions, pagodas,halls.
8、In particular,.tourists will invariantly marvel at the vast number of stone inscriptions left by famous ancient writers,scholars and calligraphers of various dynasty.
9、Each season has its beauty: bright flowers in full boom covering the green slopes in spring, spectacular summer thunderstorms which are rarely seen elsewhere,blue rivers running across the mountains overlaid with red maple leaves in fall,and snow-capped mountains and frosted pine
trees in winter that stage a quite grandeur spectacle of particular interest.
10、On a clear day, one can see the peaks one after another.When the sky is overcast,the horizon disappears into a sea of clouds.
