教学过程:
Step 1 Greetings!
Hello,everyone! Nice to you all again!Today we are going to learn something new--- something about cloze test!
Step 2 Bief introdution to Cloze Test
完形填空的题型特点:1.文章以记叙为主,夹有议论或说明。2.第一句不设空。
3.考查以实词(动,名,形,副)为主,虚词(连,介)为辅。
4. 选项设置词性相同,形式相近。
Example:
On a hot summer day in late August, I sought shade and a cool drink at a waterfront cafe on a Greek island. Over a hundred degrees in 36 air. Crowded. Tempers(脾气)of both the tourists and waiters had 37 to meet the situation, making it a rather quarrelsome environment.

Step 3 Wrong ways while doing Cloze Tset exercise
完形填空常见的错误做法:
1.边看文章边选答案,匆忙作答。恶果:一错再错,连续犯错。
2. 凭空猜想,不看上下文。恶果:答案明显,偏偏选错。
3. 汉语思维,忽略常识或英语习惯。恶果:自以为是,其实不是。

一看二选三次校,首句信息很重要;
时态文脉全知道,顺藤摸瓜上下照。
Step 5. Detailed ways exploration

Step 6. Brainstorm 请将今天所学的“完形填空解题方法”用思维导图呈现出来
With the help of the teacher ,Ss are asked to draw a mind map of correct ways to do Cloze Test exercise.
10 minutes for Ss to finish the task.
Show the maps drawn by the students.
The teacher will give some comments on Ss’ maps and decide which one is the best! Then the teacher will show what kind of map the teacher has prepared as a guidance.
Step 7. Consolidation
Finish the exercise in class in the ways learned today with the aid of Mind Map.
