Xue (sh-ye-uh) – Acupuncture Point

Acupuncture Point
• Many are located on prominent depressions on the body
• Qi gathers in these hollows
Functions of Energetic Points:
1. Diagnosis – palpation and inspections
• Dispersing is leading Qi and Blood stagnation out of tissue, or organ via the channel
• Qi stagnation-dull, moving pain • Blood Stagnation-sharp pain, not moving

Purge/Disperse Excess Condition
• Purging is removal of stagnation of Qi and Blood directly from organ
