(15) Sufficient 36V work-lights in the chocking areas; 如施工区域亮度不够或者在晚上施工，还需准备足够的 36V 安全照明灯，并 预拉到位；
(16) In winter or at below an ambient and / or steel temperature of 13°C, the additional preparation work must be carried out in advance as follows:在冬季或者环境温度过低（<13℃）时，还需准备下列加热设备： (a) Sufficient electric heater for preheating the Epocast 36. 足够的电烘箱或电加热器，用于预热环氧树脂。

3. Material And Tools Required 材料和工具
(1) EPOCAST 36 of sufficient quantity. 足够用量的 EPOCAST 36 环氧树脂材料。
(5) Jiffy mixer; 搅拌叶轮；
(6) Filling pump; 浇注泵；
(7) Glue; 胶水；
(8) 380 V / 50 Hz / 3 Phase power supply for filling pump; 380 V / 50 Hz / 3 Phase 的电源，用于驱动浇注泵；
(f) Foam rubber sealing ring. 泡沫橡胶密封环。
(3) Grease; 耐高温牛油；
(4) 2 ~ 4 pcs heavy duty hand drill with an operation speed less than 500 rpm ; 转速不超过 500rpm 的手提电钻 2 ~ 4 百度文库，用于搅拌环氧树脂；
(9) 220 V / 50 Hz / 1 Phase power supply for mixing drill; 220 V / 50 Hz / 1 Phase 的电源，用于驱动手提电钻；

(3) EPOCAST 36 consists of 2 liquid components, the resin and the hardener, which should be stored protected against freeze. Shelf life of EPOCAST 36 is 18 months. EPOCAST 36 包括两种液体材料：环氧树脂和固化剂。它们的储藏应防止冰 冻。其有效期为出厂后 18 个月。

(12) 10 ~ 20 litres acetone and sufficient rags, for removing grease, oil in the chocking area and cleaning the filling pump after the pumping; 10~20 升丙酮和足够的抹布，用于环氧树脂浇注区域内的清洁工作及浇注结 束后清洗浇注泵；

2. Main Points To Be Noted In Advance 施工前应注意的要点
(1) Ensure that appropriate Classification Society has been informed of the proposed application of EPOCAST 36 and written approval has been obtained where necessary. 确保 EPOCAST 36 环氧树脂垫块浇注的已通知有关船级社，并且必要时相应 图纸应获得其书面认可
(e) Sufficient wooden bolt plugs for sealing the bolt holes on stern-tube flange. Diameter: bolt hole diameter + 2~3mm; Length: ≥(flange thickness + EPOCAST 36 Thickness)x1.5; Quantity: = bolt hole quantity 足够的木棒塞，用于艉管法兰面螺栓通孔的密封。其直径比螺栓通孔直径 大 2~3mm，长度应不小于法兰及法兰面环氧树脂的总厚度的 1.5 倍，数量 根据法兰面螺栓通孔的数量来确定。
For the installation of sterntube, we are applying the EPOCAST 36 by pumping under pressure, using our special designed pump. Comparing with the filling by the primitive gravity way, the big advantage for you is that by our pressure method, we can assure that the gap between the Sterntube and Stern Frame boss is 100% filled And the acceptable minimum gap is only 3mm. So shipyard will be more flexible to install the sterntube. 在艉管安装时，环氧树脂是通过一只特殊设计的泵进行浇注。与普通的重力式浇 注方法相比，采用泵进行压力式浇注，艉管与艉柱间允许的空隙可以更小(最小 3mm)，船厂可以拥有更大的轴系对中余度。我们可以保证环氧树脂 100%填满艉 管和艉柱间的空隙。
(13) 6 ~ 10 men (including 1 welder) for the installation work; 6 ~ 10 名工人（含 1 名点焊工）进行施工配合；
(14) Stopping plate made by channel steal for preventing the movement along the shaft line after pushing the sterntube into the stern frame boss; 为防止艉管塞入艉柱后发生轴向的位移，需采用槽钢制作几只法兰面压板。 其宽度应小于法兰面两相邻螺栓间的间距，长度比艉柱直径长约 150mm；同 时在艉柱上焊两只螺栓，用于固定该法兰面压板。

1. General 简述
EPOCAST 36 epoxy resin chock is an engineering product which is manufactured by H.A.Springer Marine + Industrie Service GmbH in Genermany, and is approved worldwide by all the major classification societies like: ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, GL, LR, NK and others. EPOCAST 36 环氧树脂垫块是由德国 H.A.Springer Marine + Industrie service GmbH 公司生产的一种注塑化合物，并获得了世界上诸如 ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, GL, LR, NK 等各大船级社的认可。
(4) Due to the special designed filling pump, this will not effect the EPOCAST 36 installation as long as the minimum gap is at least 3 mm.. 由于采用特殊设计的浇注泵进行压力式浇注，所以对艉管环氧树脂垫块其允 许的最小厚度为 3mm。
(b) Flange damming steel plate (thickness: about 1 mm); 法兰面密封挡板 (厚度约 1 mm);

EPOCAST 36 is a pourable epoxy based resin for machinery installation where accurate alignment is import. It can be used for Main Engine, Gearbox, Steering Gear, Deck Machine, Sterntube etc. The foundation with EPOCAST 36 is much better and cheaper than the traditional method with steel chocks. When pour, EPOCAST 36 flows readily into prepared chock area, and because of its low viscosity and low surface tension, it fills any irregularity in the chocking interface. This makes the machining of base plates or foundations unnecessary and provides perfect fitting chocks.
