Last week, we had a discussion on/about whether it’s right to use sleeping hours to study in our class.60% of the students say yes, holding the view that in Senior Three, it’s necessary to sacrifice(spend) some sleeping for the purpose of studying well. However, there are 40% of the students having the opposite opinion. They consider that enough sleep is not only important to our study but also to our health. In my opinion , no matter how busy we are, we should make sure we can get enough sleep because it will make us feel energetic and study more efficiently.

观点(n.)：idea, opinion ,view ,thought ,belief, attitude

表示赞同：be for doing, agree with the idea that, approve of the idea that, subscribe to the idea that, can’t agree more , be in favor of it

表示反对：be against doing, disagree with the idea that, disapprove of the idea that, object to sth.

表示观点立场：hold the belief that, argue that, believe , consider ,

△过渡句

第三部分：个人态度

表示个人观点：as far as I’m concerned, in my opinion, from my perspective , from where I stand ,

表示身份：as a teenager, as a Senior Three student

△有特色的个人见解能赚分！

例：Just as the saying goes , all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,so we should make go od use of our time including studying hours and sleeping hours.

As far as I’m concerned, if we can get a time balance between studying and sleeping , we are bound to succeed on our study one day.

③not only……but also=as well as

连接两个相对称的并列成分，谓语动词遵循就近原则。

I not only play tennis, but also practice shooting.

Enough sleep not only is important to our study ,but also can help us keep healthy.(注意谓语动词的位置) Not only they but also I am against the plan.

●not only……but also不能用在否定句

●not only 不能分开使用，但but also 可以分开使用甚至可以省略

eg：I not only heard it but(also) saw it.

She not only finished the task ahead of time, (but also) she came to help us.

●not only在句首时该分句可以倒装
