经过了三年的英语学习,六年级学生英语学习的基础参差不齐,会给接下来的教学带来很大困难.另外六年级的学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降，所以本学期更应努力做好后进生的转化工作。
要面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，注意分层教学，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，培养学生良好的学习习惯。

Unit5 what does she do? 第四课时教学设计与反思宣城市第三小学孙述莉一、教学内容分析本课时的主要教学内容是小学英语PEP人教版六年级上册的第五单元第四课时。
继续学习有关于职业的单词：engineer , accountant , policeman , cleaner，salesperson 并要求学生在一定的情景下能正确使用What does she do？Where does she work? How does she go to work? 等句型进行交流。
本课内容是本单元的基础，因此，在教学过程中，应尽量运用直观教学手段，注意新旧知识的衔接并努力做到单词教学与句型操练相结合，以利于学生发展语言技能，提高实际运用语言的能力。
授课对象为已经学了三年英语的六年级学生，而且本单元的教学内容与学生的实际生活息息相关，因而本课时的教学内容对学生来说不难理解。
但是，因为本课时的单词比较长，学生要熟练掌握本课时的单词是本课时的难点，应给与强调和指点。
日常交际用语在实际生活中的准确运用是学习语言的目的，六年级的小学生有着爱模仿，好表现的特点，在教学时，通过创设情景，游戏等形式提高反复率，能帮助学生准确表达。

看作家鲁迅的照片， an actor.引出actor的教学。强调an,同时举一些前面用an的单词：an apple, an orange, an elephant, an ice-cream, an umbrella等等，让学生进一步掌握冠词an的用法。
在操练actor的最后，出示一位女演员赵薇的照片，问学生Is she an actor?一部分学生会说Yes,一部分细心的学生会说No.教师回答：No, she is an actress.
