How to decide the use of summary and introduction? Use a combined summary / introduction, if your readers need a brief orientation to the report and then a presentation of highlights. Use summary only, if your readers are familiar with the subject and are expecting the report. Use an introduction and a summary if a) you expect a variety of readers, only some of whom are familiar with the subject. Include a well-developed background section with a heading to indicate that this is, in fact, background. This will allow readers who do not need background on the topic to skip that information.

Conclusion This important section tells what the findings mean, particularly in terms of solving the original problem. You may intermix conclusions with the analysis of the findings—instead of presenting the conclusions separately or you may place the conclusions before the body so that busy readers can examine the significant information immediately. Still, you may also combine the conclusions and recommendations.

Writing Techniques
In drafting a contract, you should take the following techniques into consideration: (1) The language of contract should be very formal; (2) The responsibilities and obligations of both parties should be stipulated clearly and completely to avoid any possible disputes; (3) The provisions in a contract should be compatible with the established and authorized trade laws; (4) The main clauses in the contract listed above vary according to different situations in different contracts; (5) Some general clauses are applicable to most of the contracts. Sometimes they can be preprinted on a contract, such as Claim, Force Majeure and arbitration.
Lead-in
After the acceptance of an order, a sales contract or confirmation will be drafted and signed by both parties to conclude the deal. “The sales contract is ready. We will make delivery as soon as you sign it.”
Presentation
Usually, for a small transaction, an acceptance letter for an order will be taken as evidence of a deal. However, for a big transaction, a sales contract signed by both parties will be needed. The purpose is to stipulate the rights and obligations of the contracting parties and protect them as much as possible.
Task One:
Work in pairs and have a discussion to find out some useful words and phrases for drafting a sales contract. Just try your best and then exchange your findings with other pairs in your class.
