“I must have silence as I put the finishing touches on my sanderpiece,” Mr. Sunny said. “It must be perfect so I can win the trip to France.”
Mr. Sunny had hooked up an electric toothbrush to his solar-powered baseball cap. He was crawling around on the ground, using the toothbrush to brush away the last tiny specks of loose sand.

BOO! Bummer after the summer! School starts tomorrow. So my mom said we had to go to this store called Staples to buy back-to-school supplies. Ugh! Staples is the boringest store in the history of the world. They don’t sell video games or toys or any cool stuff. They just sell pens and pencils and ultraboring junk like that.
“It has an odd name,” Mr. Granite told us. “It’s called Ella Mentry School.”
WHAT??????!!!!!!! “That’s our school!” I said. “You’re going to be our teacher?” “OH NO!” we all shouted.

“I cannot leave,” Mr. Granite said. “I need to stay here for at least a year.”
“Why?” Ryan asked. “I got a job in America, mate,” he replied. “What do you do?” asked Andrea. “I’m a teacher,” Mr. Granite said. “Oh, really?” asked Andrea. “What grade?” “I teach third grade,” Mr. Granite said.
Maybe that shark will come back to try and eat Andrea’s pizza in her stomach. Maybe people will stop drowning so I won’t have to give them mouth-to-mouth resuscitation anymore.
