From my perspective, it’s not worth rebuilding the lost cultural relics. In the first place, rebuilding cultural relics may waste a lot of time and effort which could be spent on more meaningful things like building museums and libraries. Besides, the most fundamental value of the cultural relics is their historic significance. While rebuilding the lost relics, what we can reproduce is only their outward appearance, and the symbolic meaning in history can never be regained.
