越来越多大学生开始做兼职英语作文

越来越多大学生开始做兼职英语作文

越来越多大学生开始做兼职英语作文More and More College Kids are Starting Side HustlesHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I'm writing this essay to tell you about something I've noticed lately - there are a ton of college students who have side hustles and jobs besides just going to school. It seems like everywhere I go, I see kids a little older than me wearing shirts or carrying bags from restaurants, stores, and other businesses. At first I didn't really understand why they would want to work when they're already so busy with classes and homework. But after talking to some of my friends who have older siblings in college, I think I get it now. Let me explain! The first big reason college students are working side gigs is to make some extra money. College is really expensive these days! Tuition costs a fortune, and then you have to pay for books, supplies, housing, food, and everything else. Unless your parents are super rich, it's really hard to afford it all with just student loans and maybe a little help from mom and dad. By having a part-time job, college kids can earn their own money to help pay the bills. My friend Jake's sister Emily waitresses at a diner a few nights per week. She uses that cash to pay her rent and buy groceries. Jake says she's working crazy hard between her serving job, classes, and studying, but at least she doesn't have to beg their parents for money all the time. Emily's Goal is to graduate with as little debt as possible.Speaking of debt, paying off student loans is another major motivation for college side hustles. The average student these days graduates owing over 30,000! That's an insane amount of money for a young person without a full-time job yet. By working a part-time gig, they can start chipping away at those loans while still in school instead of having like a Million dollars worth of interest piling up.My neighbor Samantha is a junior at the state university, and she spends her weekends and some weeknights tutoring middle school kids in math and science. She puts every dollar she earns directly towards paying off her student debt. Samantha says it's a drag having to work so much, but she'd rather hustle now than be swimming in loans for decades after graduation.Lots of college kids also work side hustles to gain real-world experience related to their major or future career path. Sure, they learn all the book smarts in their classes. But employers thesedays want new hires to have hands-on skills and practice too. Getting a part-time job is a great way for students to start building those credentials. For instance, my cousin Liam is getting his accounting degree. On top of a full course load, he interns two days a week at a small CPA firm doing things like data entry, bookkeeping, and tax prep. Yeah, it means he has virtually no free time. But Liam says the experience looks awesome on his resume and has already helped him land a full-time job offer for after graduation!Having a side hustle in college can teach great work habits too. My older sister Sophie is a junior and she has a work-study job in the admissions office on campus. She has to show up on time, be professional, work well with others, and manage her time wisely to balance her job and schoolwork. Sophie says it's amazing practice for being a responsible adult with a career one day. Our parents are proud of how mature and responsible she's become. Some college kids also work jobs or start businesses for passion projects related to their hobbies or interests. Like my buddy Carlos spends most of his spare time and summers as a surf instructor and life guard at the beach. He's a marine biology major, so his side hustle lets him combine his love for the oceanwith making money and getting legit experience for his dream career. There's this other guy at my school whose older brother is a computer whiz. In his dorm room, he built some websites and apps that he sells online and gets paid for all the advertising on them. I don't totally understand the technical parts, but it's a pretty sweet way for him to make money from his coding skills and interests.Of course, working a side hustle on top of a full college course load isn't easy. These students have to be super organized, motivated, and never get lazy with their time. My friend Jessica is always saying how her sister Kristina has zero social life anymore because she's either working her hostess job, in class, or stuck at the library studying. Those long hours and lack of free time can also lead to lots of stress and burnout. I've seen some college kids at the local coffee shops looking like zombies after pulling multipleall-nighters between endless shifts at work and crazy study sessions. Yikes, no thanks! But for the most part, it seems like the benefits of having a side hustle outweigh the challenges for today's college students. Yes, it makes their lives incredibly hectic and there's constantpressure to perform well at both work and school. But it's amazing practice for the real world rat race. Plus, earning extra cash, paying off loans faster, gaining experience, and developing crucial career skills gives these kids a fantastic head start on life after graduation compared to their peers who just coasted through college.I'm only 10, but seeing all the hustle and motivation from college students makes me realize I better start thinking about my future now! Maybe I'll be a lemonade mogul by high school and start my own tutoring business by freshman year of college.A boy can dream, right? But for real, it's pretty inspiring seeing how driven and resourceful this generation of college kids is with their side hustles and jobs. Kudos to all of them for having such a strong work ethic and determination to get ahead in life by any means possible. I have a feeling these students are going to make the world a better place as future leaders, entrepreneurs, and hard workers. Let's go guys, keep on hustling!。

你今天有工作吗英语作文

你今天有工作吗英语作文As the sun peeks through the curtains, the first thought that crosses my mind is not about the weather outside, but rather, "Do I have work today?" This question is not merely about employment; it's about purpose, engagement, and thefulfillment that comes from contributing to something larger than oneself. In the modern world, work is not confined to the traditional 9-to-5 office hours. 九年级英语第九课作文

探索未来:科技与环保的和谐共生As we delve into the ninth lesson of Grade 9 English, a thought-provoking topic presents itself: the harmonious coexistence of technology and environmental protection in our future. This essay aims to explore the intricate relationship between the two, discussing how we can harness the power of technology to preserve our planet while also embracing its advancements. In today's world, technology is advancing at an unprecedented rate. From smartphones and artificial intelligence to renewable energy and space exploration, it seems that there is no end to the possibilities. However, this rapid growth in technology has also led to concerns about its impact on the environment. Many argue that the relentless pursuit of technological advancement is contributing to climate change and environmental degradation. But what if we could harness the power of technology to protect the environment instead of destroying it? Imagine a world where renewable energy sources like solar and wind power are the norm, rather than fossil fuels. Imagine aworld where waste is recycled and reused instead of being dumped into landfills or burned. Imagine a world where technology is used to monitor and preserve our natural resources, rather than exploit them. This is not just a pipe dream. With the advancements in technology, these scenarios are becoming increasingly possible. Solar and wind power are becoming more efficient and cost-effective, making them a viable alternative to fossil fuels. Technologies like blockchain are being used to track and trace waste, ensuring that it is recycled and reused effectively. And sensors and drones are being deployed to monitor our natural resources, providing valuable data that can help us manage them sustainably. However, while technology holds the key to many environmental solutions, it is not a silver bullet. Westill need to take individual and collective action to protect our planet. We need to reduce our carbon footprint, conserve our resources, and recycle and reuse whenever possible. We need to educate ourselves and others about the importance of environmental protection and the role that technology can play in it.In conclusion, the future of technology and environmental protection is bright if we choose to harness the power of technology for good. By embracing sustainable practices and innovative solutions, we can ensure that our planet remains healthy and habitable for future generations. Let us work together to create a world where technology and environmental protection coexist harmoniously, leading usto a sustainable and prosperous future.**探索未来:科技与环保的和谐共生**当我们深入九年级英语第九课时,一个引人深思的主题呈现在我们面前:未来科技与环境保护的和谐共生。

jobs的英文作文

jobs的英文作文

jobs的英文作文英文:When it comes to jobs, there are a lot of different factors that come into play. For me, the most important thing about a job is that it's something I'm passionate about. I believe that if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. This is something that I truly believe in, and it's something that has guided me in my career choices.Another important factor for me when it comes to jobsis the work environment. I thrive in a collaborative and supportive work environment where I can bounce ideas off of my colleagues and feel like I'm part of a team. I once worked at a company where the work environment was toxic and it really took a toll on my mental health. I knew that I needed to find a job where I felt valued and supported, and that's exactly what I did.In addition to passion and work environment, the opportunities for growth and advancement are also crucial for me. I want to work for a company where I can see a clear path for my career development. I want to be able to take on new challenges and learn new skills, and I want to know that there's room for me to grow within the company. I recently joined a company that offers a lot ofopportunities for professional development, and I can already see myself growing and advancing in my career.Overall, I believe that finding the right job is about finding a balance between passion, work environment, and opportunities for growth. When all of these factors come together, it creates a job that doesn't feel like work at all.中文:谈到工作,有很多不同的因素需要考虑。
