1.衔接与连贯

A．语义不连贯

语义连贯是指文章在内容上是连贯的、统一的，所有的句子都是为全文的中心服务，表达的信息相互关联。就各段而言，其中的每一句话都要紧密围绕该段的主题句，避免出现于主题句无关的内容。

The weather has been changeable these days. On the first day, we had a strong wind that blew down some trees. The second day was so cold that we had to run on the heat and put on winter coats. On the third day, we formed a group to go to the cinema. By the forth day the weather cleared and the sun came out. The fifth day was as hot and humid as an August day. On the sixth day, it began to rain in the morning and looks as if we’ll have a cold, steady wind for a few days.

B 衔接不当

衔接是保证语义连贯的重要手段之一。如上文，句子之间虽然以实际为线索将几天的天气串在一起，但每个句子的开头及其相似，显得单调，而且句子之间的联系不大，连贯性差。

The weather has been changeable these days. On the first day, we had a strong wind that blew down some trees. The second day was so cold that we had to run on the heat and put on wither coats. And it remained gloomy the next day. To our pleasure, on the forth day the weather cleared and the sun came out. But the fifth day turned out to be as hot and humid as an August day. Worse still, it began to rain in the morning and looks as if we’ll have a cold, steady wind for a few days.

句子

1.句子不完整

Example:

A. There are many ways to know the society outside the campus. For example by TV, radio, newspaper and so on.

For example by TV, radio, newspaper and so on. 不是一个完整的句子，不能独立成句。

There are many ways to know the society outside the campus，for example, by TV, radio, newspaper and so on.

B. These lucky numbers have their particular meanings. Such as the number 8. People think that this number means wealth.

Such as the number 8 也不是完整的句子。词组such as 常跟着所叙述的内容后作为例证，不能和名词组合在在一起单独成句。

“Lucky numbers”, such as the number “8’, have particular meanings.

In some people’s eyes, “lucky numbers”have particular meaning. Take the number “8” for example. People think it stand for wealth.

C. Wherever in Europe, Asia, North America, even in Arctic. Where there are some people to believe, that “Lucky numbers”can bring good luck to them.

Wherever in Europe, Asia, North America, even in Arctic 与后面的句子脱节，是句子的片段。

Wherever people live, in Europe, Asia, North America, even in Arctic, they tend to believe that “Lucky numbers”can bring them good luck.

二、主谓不一致

When one have money, he can do what he wants to.

改为：When one has money, he can do what he wants (to do).

当主语由not only…but also, or, either…or, neither…nor 等连接时，谓语动词应该跟最近的主语保持一致，即遵守就近原则。而当主语后跟with, along with, together with, as well as, in addition to, unlike, like, accompanied by, in combination with 等短语时，谓语动词应该跟主语在数上保持一致，而并非跟介词短语所带的宾语保持一致。

Either the players or the coach was wrong about what happened in the game.

Neither the teacher nor the students were aware of the time. English, along with computer skills,is a requirement for the degree.

The boy’s absent mindedness, as well as the slippery road, leads to the accident.

句子不间断

1. There are many people complain about the service of the campus canteen.

There are many people who complain about eh service of the campus canteen.
