Sample 1
Report on: Staff opinion about working conditions This report aims to summarize the results of the last staff meeting.
Findings
First, most of the employees are really satisfied with the new smoking policy. But there are also some problems.
Due to the fact that many employees have to care for children they would rather prefer flexible working hours.
Furthermore some office areas are in a poor condition, most important is that a few of them do not have sunlight at their workplace. There is also a problem with the payment when going on holiday, which is too less for our workers.
Conclusion
In conclusion the opinions about this topic are much better compared with last year, but there is still a lot to do. Recommendation:
It is suggested to create a bonus system for increasing holiday payment and not of least to increase productivity.
Band 3
All the content points are covered and despite a number or language errors, the message is clearly conveyed. The report has been organised into sections, although at times paragraphing is in need of attention.
Sample 2
Report on satisfaction-level of staff members Introduction
This report aims to show weather our staff members
are satisfied with their working conditions or not. Findings
The recent meeting shows clearly that our staff is quite satisfied with the working conditions. Especially, a lot of them have praised our pension scheme and our childcare vouchers.
Nevertheless, some complained about unflexible working hours, as they have to take care of their children at home.
Apart from this, the poor condition of some office areas was mentioned. A lot of them are dissatisfied with the dirt on the floors and the old-fashioned computer systems.
Finally, I would suggest to increase the number of days off, as most members feel quite exhausted after 6 months without holiday.
Conclusion
In my opinion, we should try to improve working conditions for this will lead to more productivity in the end.
