本文将以真题材料为例,和同学们分享一些 Part C部分的应试小窍门。
一、Part C要求具备的三个能力
1. 听力理解的能力 有的老师会要求学生听故事时尽量多记,但笔 者觉得这要因人而异。因为有的同学在忙着记 录时影响了听故事,记录得乱七八糟;有的同 学因为心理素质问题,若不记录全面,因为紧 张,根本回忆不起听过了什么内容;有的同学 更擅长听,认为记录会阻碍他们听力的理解。
高考真题材料自有它的权威性与导向 性,笔者建议考前把2011—2013年的近20 套广东高考听说真题作为训练材料,并如 此这般环环紧扣地操练,相信我们考生的 Part C部分最终也能练到如同听力原文中 那般流畅优美! (本文选自《广东教育· 高中》 2014年第3期,作者是黄丽)

3. 组词成句、连句成篇讲述的能力 其实就是遣词造句的能力。这需要扎实的 基本功。最简单的做法就是基本能表达出:谁, 做了什么事,在什么地方,什么时间。同学们 平时可以找老师当面评改一下自己的故事复述 录音,老师可能会纠正:几乎每一句话都有大 大小小的错误,如be do之类的双谓语、人称、 时态、单复数等等。基础好一点的同学会被老 师要求在语音、语调上再努力,甚至还可以考 虑用与原文同样的句意进行词性转换、同义词 转换、句式转换表达等。

④ Mrs. / invited / apologized / sit → Mrs. Brown invited her in and apologized for no place to sit. ⑤ lady came / welcome / neighbors → The lady came to welcome them to be her neighbors. ⑥ some parts / neighbors / unfriendly / didn’t know → She said the neighbors in some parts of this city were unfriendly and didn’t know each other.
Mr. and Mrs. Brown looked⌒at each⌒other in ′great ′surprise↘. Then Mrs. Brown said / “but Madam, we are not newcomers to this⌒apartment. We have lived here / for ′two years↘. We’re moving out tomorrow.”
2. 速记的能力 (1) 速记的内容。 记录实词:谁,说或做了什么事,反 应如何,时间、地点的转换等。冠词、 介词,连词等无意义的词可以忽略不 记。
(2) 速记的方法。 布局:列出10行、拉开间距。因为评卷老 师是按照10个信息点给分的,为了督促自己说 够10个信息点,不妨在稿纸一发下来就在稿纸 背面 (正面是Part A和Part B的记录) 左端逐行 列出1~10的序号。大概听完1~2句话换行记 (当然实际记录时也可能少于或超出10行)。记 录时单词与单词之间拉开间距,以备第二遍听 时补充更多的信息。
②故事发展:Then / After that / Later / Afterwards / soon / as soon as / during / After a while / From then on/ But / However / Suddenly / Therefore / Thus/ Unfortunately / To his surprise
3.连句成篇 在连词成句、组句成篇的同时,同学们准 备好以下的一些时间过渡词在自己的记忆库里, 可以随时调取。使用过渡词一方面使得篇章连 贯,另一方面也可以缓冲一下自己的时间,为 想好下一句做了准备。常用关联词有: ①故事开始:One day / morning / afternoon / evening / The other day / Once upon a time / At first
三、衍生操练 作为老师,精美的故事听完、复述 完之后还可以拿来作为训练学生进行三 问翻译及自由讨论的好材料。如本文中 的小故事: 1. 你觉得这栋大楼的邻居们真的如 Brown夫妇的这位邻居所说的那样很友 好吗? 2. 你们一家人和邻居的关系怎么样? 3. 怎样建立良好的邻里关系?

综合种种学生的表现,比较科学合理的做 法是:播放录音时,一听故事大意, 二听 补充细节。将注意力放在听故事上,听录 音时注意故事中的人物,以及故事发生的 时间、地点、过程、结果,特别注意是否 有意外情况出现。有人把它总结为:听取 信息5W1H原则:何时(when),何地(where), 何人(who),何事(what),为何(why),如何 (how)。
⑨ Mrs. / not newcomers / lived 2 years → Mrs. Brown said they were not newcomers and had lived there for 2 years. ⑩ moving / tomorrow → They were moving out the next day.
二、实例来自百度文库练: 2013年听说考试Test D
梗 概:Brown夫妇收拾东西搬家时,邻居 以为他们刚搬进来,过来欢迎他们。 关键词:neighbor (邻居) friendly (友好的) surprise (吃惊) newcomer (新来的人) move out (搬走)
1. 速记要点 下面是老师记录的关键信息词,同学 们可以用自己的记录与之对比一下: ① Brown / apartment / mess ② packing / heard / knock ③ Mrs. / saw / lady / next door ④ Mrs. / invited / apologized / sit
③故事结束:Finally / At last / In the end / Eventually
4. 练好自己的发音 Part C的听力录音也是很好的模仿朗 读材料。让自己的语音、语调更加优美, 语意有重音,尤其是有些同学句末单词发 音喜欢拐一下弯的中式腔调需要克服掉。 以本次的Test D材料为例,注意模仿文中 标注的重音stress(′), 连读liaison(⌒), 意群 sense group(/), 声调rising tone(↗) 和 降调 falling tone(↘)等。

书写:可以是英语单词、英语缩略词、中文、 符号等相结合。英语缩略词的写法一般为四 种方式: 拿掉所有元音:market →MKT Manager →MGR 保留前几个字母:information →info confident →con 保留开头和结尾几个发音字母:week →wk room →rm 根据发音:are →R though → tho
