excited adj. 激动的;兴奋的辨析:exciting 与excited

exciting 意为“另人兴奋的”,常用于修饰事物;(表示主语所具备的特性)excited 意为“激动的”,人作主语。(表示人的感受)

e.g. The boy was too excited to go to sleep. 小男孩太兴奋了,以至于不能入睡。I have some exciting news for you. 我告诉你一些另人兴奋的消息。

clever adj. 聪明的e.g. It was clever of him to find the way here.他能找到这儿来真是聪明。

understand v. 理解;领会(understood)e.g. This grammar is easy to understand. 这本语法书很容易理解。

(10) Thank you again for changing my life.change v. 变化;改变

e.g. How did it change his life?它如何改变他的生活?

辨析carry/bring/take/fetch/get

carry: 不表示动作的方向,一般指“搬,运,提,扛”较重的东西。eg:Please carry this bag for me.

bring: 把人或物从别处带到说话人的地方。Bring the book to me, please. take: 把人或物从说话人的地方带到别处去。Take my box to the room... fetch/get: 到别处去把某人/某物带来,拿来。指往返路程。eg:Go and fetch/get some pieces of paper.

辨析mend , repair和fix 区别

mend“修补;修”,其含义更强调“补”。如:There is a hole in my shirt. I asked my mom to mend it for me.

repair“修理”,主要指机械性修理。如:Who can repair the broken desks? fix“安装;修理”,强调安装、固定之意。如:They are fixing a new bike for us.

短语:

give away…to …给某人捐赠某物

fix up broken bicycle 修理坏自行车

raise money for homeless people 捐钱给无家可归的孩子

volunteer …to do sth.志愿牺牲…去做某事

stop doing sth. to do sth.停止正在做的事去做另一件事

1. Daily greeting.

2. 复习动词不定式的用法,并完成相关任务。

3. Present the new words on the big screen and learn the new words together.

7.阅读短文回答问题

(1) What kind of letter is it?

(2) Who wrote the letter to Miss Li? Why?

Ss read the letter quickly and try to find the answers to the two questions. Check the answers with the class.

8.解答疑难,完成相关练习。
