Oral Presentation of the Teaching Plan for(说课稿) Unit 4 Where is my schoolbag? Section A (1a-1c)
Step Four: Blackboard Design
On the middle top of the blackboard. I will write the topic of this unit, under the topic, there are some key words below them. I will write the important sentences so that students can have a clear understanding about this unit. That is all for my presentation, thank you for your attention.
Part 1 Teaching Material
The lesson plan I am going to present is
from Go for it Grade 7 Unit 4. This unit is about “Where is my schoolbag?”. By studying of this unit, students to describe the location of things, from the functional item practice, Ss may apply them in the real communication. Improve their listening ability as well and develop the interest in learning English.
(This task can let the Ss review the sentence patterns.) 5. Task 3: Pair work Ask Ss to work in pairs to practice the conversations according to the PPT. Then ask three or four pairs to show their conversations. (This task can not only help the Ss to be familiar with the new sentence patterns, but also develop the Ss’ listening and speaking skills.)
Part 2 Teaching Aims
1.Language Objectives: 1)New words: where bed table chair bookcase sofa in on under desk
2).Sentence patterns: Where is my schoolbag? It’s in/on/under … Where are my books? They’re in/on/under … 2. Ability Objectives: 1) Develop students’ listening and speaking ability. 2) Enable students’ to talk about the location of things. 3. Moral Objectives: 1) Develop students’ confidence by speaking bravely. 2) Develop students’ team-work awareness.
Part 3 The Important and Difficult Points
1.The teaching important points are 1)the sentence pattern: Where is /are ….? It is / They are …in/on/under… 2)The new words: where bed table chair bookcase sofa in on under desk 2. The teaching difficult points are to describe the location of things on their own and the understanding of the tape.
Step Two: Presentation and tasks:
1. Present the new words by using the PPT: where bed table chair bookcase sofa in on under desk 2. Task 1: Practice the new words. (This task can help Ss to review and remember the new words.) 3. Present the sentences by using some pictures: Where is /are ….? It is /… They are …in/on/under… 4. Task 2: Guessing game Ask Ss to guess the location of things according to the PPT.

Unit 4 Where is my schoolbag ?
Hello, everyone, Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some my teaching ideas. My topic is taken from the first lesson of Unit 4 of grade seven in students’ book-Go for it. And my topic is “Where is my schoolbag?” . I will present this lesson from seven parts:
Part 5 Teaching Procedure Step One: Greetings and lead-in. It
will cost 4 minutes. In this part, I will play “Finger Song” to lead the new teaching contents. (This task can catch Ss’ attention about the lesson.)

6. Task 4: Listening First, listen and get the general meaning. Second, listen and finish the task. Third, check the answers and listen. (This task can help the Ss understand the tape scripts deeply and make a preparation for the group work.) 7. Task 5: Group work (four Ss a group) Find the difference between picture 1 and picture 2, then ask one student for each group to make a report. (The task can help the Ss to cooperate with each other.)
Step Three: Summary and homework.
The homework is to use the important sentence pattern to describe the things’ location in their home, at least five sentences so that students can go over what they have learnt immediately. Three minutes are enough.

As far as we know, a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help Ss develop good sense of
the English language. For achieving these teaching aims, and considering students’ liveliness and diligence, I will use Communicative language teaching and Task-based Language Teaching to teach.
