【观察】

a.How long has his son owned the train and railway set? He’s owned it since his fourth birthday. 他的儿子拥有那套轨道火车多长时间了？从他四岁生日那天起就有了。

【小结】

现在完成时态：延续性动词have, own可以同“一段时间”连用，表示过去已经开始并持续到现在的动作或状态。eg. They’ve learned English for five years.

非延续性动词的否定形式可以与表示时间段的时间状语连用。eg. I haven't heard from him for three weeks.
