被动语态:

1•谓语动词的语态表示句子的主语和谓语动作之间的关系:

1 )当句子的主语是谓语动作的执行者时,主、谓之间的关系称为主动语态;

2 )当句子的主语是谓语动作的承受者时,主、谓之间的关系称为被动语态。

2. 当我们不知道谁是动作的执行者或者没必要指出谁是动作的执行者时,用被动语态; 当强调动

作的承受者时,要用被动语态。

构成:被动语态的句子是谓语动词为be +过去分词(done )”,其主语是动作的承受者,

动作的执行者往往在句末由介词by引出。

1 )一般现在时被动语态:am / is / are +动词过去分词

eg:English is spoken by many people in the USA.

2 )一般过去时被动语态:was / were +动词过去分词

eg: These trees were cut last ni ght.

3)含情态动词的被动语态:情态动词+ be +动词过去分词

eg: The room must be kept clea n. The work should be done today.

被动语态练习:

1. People speak En glish in many coun tries.

2. The farmers built this bridge last year.

3. The tiger in the zoo frightened the little girl.

4. You must not take these magaz ines out of the read in g-room.

5. The little boy can eat up all the cakes.

6. Everyone should obey the rules.
