设计意图:
本课为新标准英语一年级起点第五册Module8的Unit1,重难点为区别运用“There is…”和“There are…”句型。新课程标准指出,“英语课程要面向全体学生,注重素质教育。课程特别强调要关注每个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心”。结合我校学生家长文化程度较底,难以督促和辅导学生的英语学习,学生的合作学习显得异常重要。我在培养学生兴趣的同时,特别注重培养小组的合作互助,共同进步的精神。在突破There is 这个难点时,我将重点句型There is...结合学生熟悉的旋律编制了歌曲,让学生在唱中学,并以小组合作表演,小组竞赛的方式,调动学生学习的积极性,帮助学生树立英语学习的自信心。在突破另一个难点There are...句型时,我编了一个chant,帮助学生巩固句型,并以小组合作说chant以及竞赛的方式,培养学生的合作意识。在布置任务时,我注重面向全体学生,给每个学生提供开口说英语的平台,给学生提供了交流和互相学习,互相帮助的空间。通过四人小组合作,学生间互相帮助,学习主动灵活,基础好的带基础差的一同进步,基础差的学生也有机会练习,让孩子在合作中体验成功,调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,确实做到“不求人人进步,但求人人参与”。
教材分析
1、知识技能目标:
(1)能听懂,会读,会认,理解单词Ming Tombs,stone,camel,animal,elephant,horse。
(2)能掌握并正确运用句式“There is…/There are…”
2、情感态度:培养学生浓厚的学习兴趣,乐于开口,积极参与的
情感态度。
3、学习策略:培养学生合作学习的精神。

能掌握并正确运用句式“There is…/There are…”

5、任务设计:用英语描述海沧动物园,中山公园,环岛路。
6、教具准备:CD-ROM,单词卡片,录音机,贴画, 魔术树.

1.Teaching aims :
Knowledge target: Enable students to master the new words of man ,woman,visit and new drills of “How many …are there ? There be…Skill target : Enable students to introduce their families. Emotions target: Let students to share with others.
2.Main points: Gain the ability of introducing their own family .
Can use “How many …are there ? to ask and answer.
3.Difficult points: Use these words and sentences in activeties and daily life.
4.Teaching aids : tape ,cards, CAI,photos.
