设计意图:

本课为新标准英语一年级起点第五册Module8的Unit1,重难点为区别运用“There is…”和“There are…”句型。新课程标准指出,“英语课程要面向全体学生,注重素质教育。课程特别强调要关注每个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心”。结合我校学生家长文化程度较底,难以督促和辅导学生的英语学习,学生的合作学习显得异常重要。我在培养学生兴趣的同时,特别注重培养小组的合作互助,共同进步的精神。在突破There is 这个难点时,我将重点句型There is...结合学生熟悉的旋律编制了歌曲,让学生在唱中学,并以小组合作表演,小组竞赛的方式,调动学生学习的积极性,帮助学生树立英语学习的自信心。在突破另一个难点There are...句型时,我编了一个chant,帮助学生巩固句型,并以小组合作说chant以及竞赛的方式,培养学生的合作意识。在布置任务时,我注重面向全体学生,给每个学生提供开口说英语的平台,给学生提供了交流和互相学习,互相帮助的空间。通过四人小组合作,学生间互相帮助,学习主动灵活,基础好的带基础差的一同进步,基础差的学生也有机会练习,让孩子在合作中体验成功,调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,确实做到“不求人人进步,但求人人参与”。

教材分析

1、知识技能目标:

(1)能听懂,会读,会认,理解单词Ming Tombs,stone,camel,animal,elephant,horse。

(2)能掌握并正确运用句式“There is…/There are…”

2、情感态度:培养学生浓厚的学习兴趣,乐于开口,积极参与的

情感态度。

3、学习策略:培养学生合作学习的精神。

4、教学重点:

能掌握并正确运用句式“There is…/There are…”

5、教学难点:能掌握并正确运用句式“There is…/There are…”

5、任务设计:用英语描述海沧动物园,中山公园,环岛路。

6、教具准备:CD-ROM,单词卡片,录音机,贴画, 魔术树.

7、板书:Module8,Unit1 There are stone animals.

Procedures

Step1 Warm-up

1、Greetings

2、Sing songs.“OldMacDonle”

Step2 Lead-in and task-setting

T:Look!There are some pictures .There is a picture of Haicang Zoo.There is a picture of Zhongshan Park.There is a picture of Huandao Road.Our teacher Ms Bachelor wants to visit them.she needs some guides.Do you want to be her guides?

Ss:Yes.

T:今天我们将选出用英语说得最棒的小组做Ms Bachelor的导游。Step3 Presentation

1、Watch CD-ROM

2、Present “Animal,camel,lion,horse,elephant,There is”

3、(Sing a song)

song:(There is a lion.There is a lion.There is a horse,There is a horse.There is an elephant.There is an elephant.There is a camel.There is a camel.)小组表演,评出最棒的

4、Present“There are”

5、Say the chant:听音,说一说。

T:Miss Huang 有棵魔术树,长满了奇怪的果实,小朋友们想得到他们吗?看看哪个小组拿到最多的礼物。

Step 5 Task-fulfilling

T:Now it`s time to finish our task.We`ll choose guide groups.Stick them and say out by turns.Give you 3 minutes.

Ss:(小组合作完成任务)

T:It`s time to choose guide groups.四人小组上台介绍图片,评出导游小组。

Step6 Exercise book & homework .

1、完成练习册。

2、听音,跟读5遍。

3、查找更多关于Ming Tombs的信息并将今天所学的告诉家人。

4、小组完成图画。

新标准英语一起第5册Module 8 Unit 2教学设计

1.Teaching aims :

Knowledge target: Enable students to master the new words of man ,woman,visit and new drills of “How many …are there ? There be…Skill target : Enable students to introduce their families. Emotions target: Let students to share with others.

2.Main points: Gain the ability of introducing their own family .

Can use “How many …are there ? to ask and answer.

3.Difficult points: Use these words and sentences in activeties and daily life.

4.Teaching aids : tape ,cards, CAI,photos.

5.Teaching process:

一、Preparation :

1.Greetings to each other .

2.Sing a song :< Ten Indian Boys>.

3.Free talk :

(1) Guess: What’s in my bag ?

( Use There be to answer )

(2) Show them pictures of animals then answer :

How many tigers / horses…are there ?

二、Presentation :

1.Show them a photo of Daming then ask :

Do you know “How many people are there in Daming’s family ?

2.Show the title and leaning target by PPT.

3.Let’s enjoy a cartoon by CAI then answer this question .

三、Practice :

Q3.What are they doing ?

Listen to the tape and think about these questions then find out the ansers.

Discuss in grops then give the answers.

(2) New words and drills teaching :

a. leaning the new words : man woman

Paying attention to the pronunciation of women .

Compare the difference between woman and women .

Say when to use “woman “?

when to use “women”
