教学目标:

1.语言目标:能熟练掌握所教的单词:shape: circle, triangle, rectangle, square和句型What shape is it? It is a…;How many circles are there? There are…

2.交际目标:能熟练使用新学单词并结合句型对图形内容进行描述。

3.应用目标:能分组用形状设计图形并对其进行描述。

设计思路:

本课设计的重点在于培养学生的形象思维和分组用形状设计图形,并熟练使用What shape is it?和It is a …这两个句型来谈论图形。How many circles are there? There are…这两个句型来识别个数。(1)通过游戏和设置任务活动让学生操练掌握四种形状,突破单词难点。(2)通过游戏和设置任务活动操练掌握句型“What shape is it?” “It is a…”.How many circles are there? There are…(3)通过做一些有关形状的思维题,拓展学生的形象思维。(4)通过最后设置一个任务掌握并应用四种形状和句型,询问学生看到哪些东西来培养学生的发散性思维.

教学重点:能分组用形状设计图形,并对该图形内容进行描述。

教学难点:能熟练使用新句型并结合以前学过的句型对图形内容进行描述。

教学准备:实物、彩笔、形状卡片和设计用纸等。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming:

Greeting :

T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you.

Ss: Hello, MissYang. Nice to meet you too.

T: How is the weather today?

Ss: It’s sunny.

T: What day is it today?

Ss: It’s Tuesday.

T: What’s the date today?

Ss: It’s April 11th.

Step 2 Presentation:

T: Today we have got a new friend. His name is Miss Shape. Say: “hello” to Miss shape, she will see you.

S: Hellos! Miss shape.

T: Ok, Miss shape is here. Look carefully, please. Her head is a circle. ( draw a circle and read together the word “ circle” twice.) Her eyes are two stars. Her nose is a triangle.( do as the above) Her body is a square. ( do as the above) Her arms are rectangles( do as the

above) Her feet are triangles. ( do as the above).

Now you can see clearly on the board, this is Miss Shape. Do you think she is nice? Do you like her? Do you want to be her new friend.

S: Yes.

Teacher writes down the words shape: circle, triangle, rectangle, square on the board . and then practice the words.

Step 3 Practice:

1. Team work

One team stands for one shape, T says circle , the Ss of the right team stand up and say: circle circle , we are circles. And then change the order.

2. Guess my favourite shape?

T: What’s my favourite shape?

Ss: Is it a circle?

T: Yes. My favourite shape is circle.

Ask one student to ask another one .learn the words by heart.

3: Ask and answer.

T: What shape is it? ( Teacher holds a shape on hand and asks) S: It’s a…

S1: What shape is it?

S2: It’s a…

4: Let’s guess and count

T: How many squares are there?(some shapes in the teacher’s hand)

S1: Five squares?

T: No.

S2: ten squares.

T: Yes. You’re a lucky girl. Let’s count.

One square, two square s…

Step 4 Ending:

Let students listen and learn to sing a shape song. Home work: Ss draw a picture about these shapes. Blackboard design:
