Jasmine Tea
Jasmine tea is made from jasmine flowers and is the most popular among scented tea (花茶).The most wellknown jasmine flower tea is produced in Fujian Province.
• Getting rid of the withered jasmine flowers and get the tea leaves baked;
• Putting the baked tea leaves into newly picked jasmine flowers again.
Longjing Tea
• Longjing tea is made from Longjing, West Lakeຫໍສະໝຸດ Baidu Hangzhou.
• It is a top-grade green tea. • Tea was produced in Longjing in the
Tang Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty Longjing tea was the favorite one of Emperor Qianlong. • It is made of tea shoot(茶梢). • Four unique characteristics of Longjing tea: green, fragrant sweet and beautiful.
How To Select Tea
Tea leaves should always be kept dry. Aroma is the most important factor. The color of the tea liquid and the
shape of the tea leaves vary with different types of tea.
Mongolian Tea with Milk
Mongolians never have meals without tea with milk. In fact, they have “three teas and one meal” every day. They have tea in the morning, at noon and in the evening, and have supper after work with their families. If they have beef and mutton for super, they will have an extra tea before they retire for the evening. Their tea is not pure tea, but fragrant tea with milk, and is usually accompanied by such snacks as fried rice(炒饭), milk cakes, deep fried milk products(油炸奶制品) and boiled mutton.

History
Tea is native to China, and Chinese tea culture has a long history. Originally tea was used as a medicine instead of a drink. It was said that Shennong, the legendary ruler in ancient China, once tasted a lot of plants and was poisoning effect. Later the ancient China get to know more about tea, and instead of being regarded as a medicine, it became a drink. Tea not only quenches one’s thirst, but also helps reduce one’s internal heat.
