Book5 Module4 Reading and V ocabulary说课稿尊敬的各位评委,下午好!很高兴有机会向大家展示一下我对第五册第四模块Reading and Vocabulary部分的教学设计。
(同时板书: Book5 - Module4 Reading and Vocabulary)新课标要求我们要围绕三维教学目标开展教学,整合发展学生语言知识、语言技能、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面的素养,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
根据这一要求,针对学生的实际情况,我重新整合教材完成了教学设计。
它由教材分析、目标和方法分析、过程分析和板书设计四部分组成。
第一:教材分析该模块的主题是:Carnival。
Reading and Vocabulary是整个模块的核心。
它文章the Magic of the Mask为载体,为我们了介绍了有关狂欢节的情况。
同时呈现出了本模块的重点词汇、句型、语法和语言功能。
第二:目标和方法分析这节课的语言知识目标有三个:一是识记与话题有关的14个单词,学会运用4个重点单词和10`个重点短语,这是基础也是重点;二是理解并运用1个so that 引导的状语从句,一个while引导的时间状语从句和三个含定语从句的句子。
这是重点也是难点;三是注意被动语态在文中的运用,这为下节语法课的学习做了铺垫。
我把这节课的能力目标定位在:重点操练学生整体把握文章结构和捕捉细节的阅读能力;重点操练学生skimmimg 和scanning的阅读技巧。
为了实现这些目标,我将采用:分层教学、合作学习和循环大课堂与PWP相互穿插的教学模式。
针对不同环节,我分别运用了直观法、头脑风暴法、讨论法和归纳法等教学方法。
用融合法和旁白法让学生了解东西方文化的特点,比较中外文化的差异,增强跨文化交际的意识。
这是本课的文化意识目标。
第三:过程分析我设计的教学过程分四个环节,包括五个活动。
它是阅读和处理导学案同步进行的过程。

Analysis of the teaching aimsAccording to the new curriculum standard, the syllabus, and the analysis of the teaching material, students, I set the teaching aims as follows:Knowledge aim: students can grasp the core vocabularies and sentence patterns. Analysis of teaching and methodsIn order to make all of the students understand the new knowledge in an easy way and me et the students’ demands of different levels, I decide to use the following teaching methods Task-based teaching method, discussing in group, self-learning method, etc.Ⅵ. Analysis of the teaching proceduresBased on what I have analyzed above, I will share the most important part—teaching procedures with you.Step one: Lead inAt first, the Ss will be given 2 pieces of local picture news about themselves. Then I will ask them to speed reading on the news within 60 seconds And then ask 2 or 3 Ss to read the news loudly as quickly as possible within 60 seconds. Also I can invite 2 Ss to broadcast the news according to the materials. In the end, I will introduce the theme of this unit “Making news---My first work assignment”Purpose: This can not only arouse their interest in learning, but also can enlarge their vocabularies. And it’s easy to feel proud of broadcasting local picture news. The class atmosphere also will be into the climax.Step two: Presentation and practice1. Pre-readingBefore reading, I will ask Ss such a question as “what excellent qualities does the news reporter should have?” in a discussing manner. During the process, I will give some hints for Ss that they can describe it by adjectives, for example, hard-working, friendly, patient, imaginative, professional, etc.Then I will make Ss discuss the following questions as the background knowledge for the text: Does work experience play an important role in making the news? Enthusiasm for the job is the key to success, do you agree? Why or why not? Through the process, Ss can tell which qualities that news reporters should have and why. So they understand it’s never easier for every job.At last, I’ll get the Ss to look at the title and guess what the text might be about, which will draw Ss’ attention to the content of the text.2. While-reading(1) SkimmingThen, I will ask the Ss to read the passage as quickly as they can and get the structure of the text. Guide the Ss to find out key words and sentences or pay attention to the first sentence of each paragraph to getthe main idea of the text.Purpose: By doing this, I will train Ss’ fast reading skills toimprove the Ss’ reading ability and let the Ss understand the general idea of each paragraph.(2) Intensive readingThe Ss are required to focus on the whole text paragraph by paragraphto locate particular information and finish the exercise on the screen.These exercises are mainly sentence judgments, choices about the text. Considering about Ss’ different levels, these exercises are des igned from the easiest one to the most difficult one.
