Logistics can be defined as an operational process that include inputting, storing, transporting and distributing of physical goods. 3PL can be defined as the outsourcing of distribution functions (such as inbound freight, customs, warehousing, order fulfillment, distribution, and outbound freight) of goods from clients to customers 3PL: reduces operating cost, to meet demand fluctuations, and to reduce capital investment.
