口译记忆、旅游观光
如何识记信息? 翻译的对象绝不是语言,而是借助语言表达的意义。在实践中译者要记下来的不是他听 到的所有的词,而是由语言所表达的意义。同时人的记忆能力有限,要记住话语中的所有 的词也是不可能的,因为在听力记忆跨度之内最多只能同时记住7—8个字词,其余字词只 能留下意思痕迹。另外话语的构成也为我们捕捉话语的思想提供方便,在任何一个话语 中都有许多不承载实质性意义负荷的多余词,它们仅仅充当前后话语的连接功能,所以在 识记信息时可以抛开它们而不损及话语的整体意义。口译中的信息识记的本质就是译者 接收(听)和理解始发信息,其目的在于向信息接收人转达信息。可见,较之一般记忆中的 信息识记,口译中的信息识记是一种有意识的识记。 它首先要求译者在接受信息时集中注意力。 影响译者注意力的因素: ①译者自身因素,包括译者的体力和情绪; ②客观因素,即译者工作的外部环境,包括各种干扰、技术设备的质量、温度、湿度等 护良好的体力和精神状态,同时要排除一些客观因素的影响,这样才能集中注意力,捕捉住 信息中所蕴含的思想。 其次,译者要识记信息,就要善于确定和把握交际双方的交际目的、交际的主题、双方话 语的结构,这些因素都为信息识记提供了一个大背景,进而可减轻识记的紧张程度,并为下 一步保持信息和再认信息奠定基础。 再次,译者要善于在理解的基础上归纳、概括所识记的信息。任何理解都是我们利用已 知信息去了解未知信息,都是我们在有关经验和知识中去建立联系。在口译实践中译者 的经验愈丰富,积累的主题知识愈多,那么他的联系就愈丰富,就愈容易在需要时将这些经 验知识调出,就愈容易理解新信息。
