上上个星期天上午，我来到贝诺尔学校参加英语竞赛。因为上次我在福布斯的初赛过关了。

上午十时，我来到贝诺尔学校，进入考场。老师让我们用英语进行自我介绍，轮到我时，我有些紧张，老师安慰我说：“没事的，别紧张，说吧。”我渐渐地放松下来，开始用洪亮的声音开始自我介绍，最后，还好，只错了一个单词。监考老师说：“很好，在这十张照片中任选一张，先回到自己座位上看一看，考虑考虑，再轮到你时再过来。”于是，我就先了一张照片，那上面是一个和睦的六口家庭。过了一会儿，老师就让我把照片上的人物用英语介绍一下，老师又问了我几个问题，第一个我回答的很顺利，但第二个问题的最后一个单词我没听懂，我想：这下十有八九要落选了。

这次英语竞赛虽然说我考得不太理想，但通过这次竞赛，至少使我对自己在英语方面的实力有了一个更清醒的认识，了解了自己的的优势与弱项所在，也清楚了自己今后努力的方向，因此，我觉得，参加这次竞赛还是有收获的，至少没白来一趟吧。
