Documentary in Japan Reveals Dark History

Every September 2 -- a day marking Japan’s surrender in the War of Aggression Against China -- is a sensitive day for China and Japan. This year, however, Japanese broadcaster NHK’s independent voice won universal praise in China.

Last month, NHK, Japan’s national public broadcasting organization, broadcast a documentary titled The Truth of Unit 731. Unit 731 was a secret chemical warfare development of unit of the Japanese military during WWII.
