【导入】Warming up and lead in
1. Greeting
T: Hello , boys and girls.
Ss: Hello,Miss Wei.
T: How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine ,thank you,and you?
T:I’m fine too.
2. Sing a song “You are happy”
T: First, l’ll play an English song for you .If you are happy and you know it.Do you
want to listen?
S:Yes.
T:Please stand up,sing the song and do the actions together.
T plays the CD-ROM)
Ss sing the song and do the actions together.
3. Lead- in and show the task
1. (After singing the song)T: You did a good job,I feel happy now.Do you feel
happy?
Ss: Yes.
T: I feel happy, too. Today we are going to learn Module9 Unit2 I feel happy. We
will talk about feelings and the reasons. I’ll divide you into two groups.If you did a
good job,your group can ge t a happy srar.let’s see which group is the winner in
this class,ok?
Ss:Yes.

Look and say the words of describing feelings.
T:Now Look at the pictures, tell me the words , then do the actions. Are you ready
?
Ss: Yes!
T:Happy,sad...
Ss:act out the feelings.

1.Look, listen and answer.
T: So people can have different feelings all the time.Have you enjoyed the
changing face show ,especially in Chuan opera.Now watch the wonderful
show, then tell me his feelings.
Ss watch the flash.
T: What’s his feeling?
Ss: He’s happy. He’s sad. He’s angry.
2. Culture input
T:From the show, we know there’s a relation between color and feeling. Usually,
white stands for happiness.Blue shows sadness. Red, a strong color, represents an
ger.
3.I say you do.(Play a game.)
T:Now let’s play a game ,I say you do and sense the changing face show.
T say the words, Ss act out the feeling.then T ask two students to come to the
front,Ss say the words,the two students act them out,
4.Say a feeling chant,
(1)T:You know the feeling very well,now let’s say a feeling chant,
T shows how to say.
(2) Ss try to say and show the expressions.
Tired, tired, I feel tired.
Happy, happy, I feel happy.
Sad, sad, I feel sad.
Hungry, hungry, I feel hungry.

T: Now let’s talk about our friends' feelings. Look at these people. Listen carefully,
then write down their feelings.
Ss listen and write down the answers.
(2) Check the answer
T: Let’s check the answers. Picture one, what’s his feeling?
S1: He feel tired.
T: Pay attention, he feels tired. Can you show me the feeling?
S1 shows the feeling by expression.
T: Excellent! Two starts for your group.
T: Picture two, what’s her feeling?
S2: She feels happy.
T: Can you show me?
S2 shows the feeling by expression.
