1. Introduction
Color is a kind of natural phenomenon. No matter what the language is, color terms really play an important role in vocabulary or in a nation’s language. Besides, almost colors a re so closely related to human’s lives that there are various meanings on the same color. Li Aihua proved that there are not only differences but also similarities in the way of human’s thinking on the understanding of color meanings based on conceptual metaphor theory. And Cao Xiaoping also put forward her view that the expression of color’s meaning, to a great extent, depends on people’s cognition.
