教学内容
1.学会运用数十、数百的数词,学会运用how, how long, how far构成的疑问句。
2.学会运用how, how long, how far构成的疑问句及其回答。
3.通过听力、口语的训练,总结句型,归纳语法。
教学重难点
1.在听说活动中运用本单元生词、短语表达出行方式,距离远近,用时多久等。
2.掌握和运用how, how long和how far疑问句的构成、回答和读音。
教学思路
本课的教学重点在于引导学生观看图片,理解语境,从本课时的需要出发,先学习十以上的数词,进一步引导学生在听力、口语活动中运用,回答多久、多远等问题。以活动和任务引起学生的听说兴趣,训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用图片辅助听力和说话,同时在对话中反复运用新学的单词和短语。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握数词的书写和读音,询问和回答how, how long和how far的句型。情感目标定为通过话题的学习,培养学生运用适当的交通工具,做到既健康又环保。

Step Ⅰ.Lead in
【情景1】
T:Good morning/ afternoon, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning/ afternoon, Mr./ Ms. XX.
transportation交通工具:bike, car, subway, train,…
【情景2】
1.Review the how-questions, and ask about how the students get to school.
(Show the PPT and teach the verbs.)
T:How does he get to school?
S1:He walks to school.
T:How do they get to school?
S1:They take the train.
T:How long does it take?
S1:It takes about forty minutes.
T:How far is it from your home to school?
S1:It’s only about five kilometers.
The teacher uses pictures or performs the actions to teach the new words. And write the words and teach their pronunciations and spellings.
2.Presentation
Show a picture on the PPT and explain these words and phrases.
Teach: home—school, how long,10 minutes, how far, two kilometers.
Then make up a dialogue to practice.
A:How do you get to school?
B:I usually take the bus.
A:How far is it from your home to school?
B:It’s about two kilometers.
A:How long does it take?
B:It takes 30 minutes by bus.
[设计意图]利用学生学过的内容,从谈论“日常交通方式”话题开始,轻松进入语境,进而介绍生词,利用多媒体课件创设情境将词汇的音、形、意融为一体,促进理解,加深记忆。使动词学习更加形象直观,自然地进入新话题。为2a、2b听力教学扫清词汇和语言障碍。
Step Ⅱ.Listening(2a)
1.Before listening
Revise the numbers.First,0—12,next,13—19,then,teach 20—90.And teach the new word “hundred”.
T:Now,class.Let’s count from 0 to 30.We know these numbers. What do the numbers 13—19 have in words?
Ss: They all have “-teen”.
T:Yes.And in the words 20,30,…90,there is “-ty”.So we can learn these words easily. Say these numbers.20—90.
Ss: Twenty, thirty, forty,…ninety.
T:What about 99 and 87 in the word forms?
Ss: Ninety-nine and eighty-seven.
T:Yes,we use 90 and 9.Don’t forget “-”between ninety and nine. In this way we can say and write the English words for the numbers below 100.
T:Now,learn the word “hundred”.It means 100.
Ss: Hundred.
T:For more than 100,we say “one hundred and…”.For example, how can we say 103 in English? Ss: One hundred and three.
T:Very good.Now,213?
