1>Abrasion: A surface imperfection that removes or

displaces material characterized by its

large width and length relative to its

depth.

中譯: 擦破/磨損一個表面的瑕疵。

移動材料時造成較大的寬度、長度、深

度之特徵。

2>Bleeding: This defect is the discoloration created

by the diffusion of coloring material

through an applied coating from the

substrate to the surface of the coating.

中譯: 滲出染料擴散，自底層到表層，造成表面上的

瑕疵。

3＞Blemish: The change in the surface appearance

due to a flaw or cosmetic defect.

中譯: 污損/污點因為一個瑕疵或外觀不良而改變表面外部

4＞Blister: The raised bumps in the surface, caused

by air or solvent vapors forming within

or under the coating.

中譯: 水泡由於來自烤漆內部或表面的空氣或溶劑

5＞Blush: Discoloration or change in gloss, generally

appearing at the gates, abrupt thickness

changes or other structures along flow pat.

For a coating, it is the same as blister.

7＞Burn Mark: A condition where supper-heated

trapped air in the cavity heats or burns

the surface of the plastic part.

8＞Burr:This defect appears as a rough or sharp

edge on metal after it has been cast, cut,

drilled, stamped, and so forth. Burrs will

usually snag or tear a cleaning cloth.

外觀形成一個粗糙或銳利邊緣，毛邊總是

9＞Chip: This defect is defined as the loss of

adhesion and the removal usually in

small fragments, of the surface coating

resulting from impact by hard objects.

Sometimes it is also known as Mar, Ding

or Nick.

碎片，失去附著力而剝落，如損壞、壓印

或刻痕。

10＞Crack: A thin break (splitting) in the coating or

plastic material or sheet-metal.

中譯: 裂痕/裂縫在烤漆或塑膠或鈑件上，一條細薄破裂(拉

裂)。

11＞Crater: This type of defect is characterized by a

cup-shaped depression or cavity in the

coated surface. Sometimes confused with

pinholes, craters begin as blisters with

the depression formed as the gas forming

the blister escapes before surface

hardening.

中譯: 氣孔這不良形態特徵，是在烤漆表面上，有一

個杯形窪地或洞穴形狀。有時候會跟針孔

混淆。氣孔的形成就像水泡，在烤漆表面

12＞Color Variance: A difference in hue or color from the

specified color.

13＞Contamination: It is a condition created by foreign

material becoming mixed with virgin

plastic material. The contamination spots

are usually black or brown in color.

中譯: 污染就是外來原料與原塑料混合摻雜一起所

形成。一般污點顏色近似黑色或棕色。

14＞Corrosion: This defect is caused by chemical

reaction with hot humid air or any other

solvent.

中譯: 腐蝕因濕熱空氣或任何溶劑而產生化學反

應，形成不良現像。

15＞Crazing: This defect is noticeable in surface

coatings by slight break in the coating

that do not penetrate through to the

substrate or a previously applied coating. 中譯: 燒裂烤漆表面上細微裂痕
