What do you ofen do in your spare time?
→I ofen…I love…I also enjoy…
Why not+v.(原形)…?
→Sounds good.

Step 1 Warming-up
1. Greet the students:How are you today? What’s the weather like today?
2. Review the words by showing the pictures about the activities that students like
doing at weekends: like,love,enjoy,prefer
Then lead in the new sentence pattern: What’s your hobby?
Step 2 Presentation
1. Talk about the pictue in 2a by using: What’s her/his hobby?
She/He likes/loves/enjoys/prefer.s ..
2. Listen to 2a and complete the sentences on the small blackboard.
3. Make a student come to the blackboard and sum up the words and phrases that express interests and hobbies:like,love,enjoy,prefer,be inerested in,be fond of
4.Let the students make up more sentences to each other by using like/love/enjoy/prefer
/be inerested in/be fond of.(use the words and phrases on the small blackboard.) Then play a game: Drive a train
5. Let the students listen to the tape in 1a and answer the questions :
What are Wen Wei’s hobbies? What’s Helen’s hobby?
6. Make the students question and answer by themselves.
Step 3 Consolidation
1. Let the students make a similar dialogue to 1a by using the pictures.
