The first period (P8,11)
Knowledge objectives:
1.To learn the new words: hard, soft, rough, smooth, sharp, blunt, thin, thick
2. To learn the sounds: -ar –ue –oo-
Skill objectives:
1. Be able to master the new words.
2. Be able to use adjectives to describe how things feel
Eg. It’s very sharp.
3. Be able to master the sounds:ir ur au oor.
Emotion objectives
To be feel with heart , life is flavored .
Teaching procedure:
I. Pre-task preparation
1. Warming up.
2. Learn the sounds: -ir –ur –oor- -au- .
1) show some words with -ir –ur –oor- -au- and read
2) Watch the video and learn the sentences.
3. Revision
A. Fill in the blanks with the given words in their proper forms(用所给单词的适当形式填空)
