1.Definition
Blending is the formation of new words by combining parts of two words or a word plus a part of another word. Words formed as such are called blends.

The reason why blending produced
• To adapt to the high pace of modern life, the modern English has become more simplified. People tend to use this way to create a lot of blending words , which express new terms, new names and new concepts. They are broadly used in fields such as scientific, politics, economics, electronics, computers, aerospace, medical science, and communications.

Definition: Clipping is to shorten or clip a longer word by cutting a part off the original and using what remains instead. Eg: Bus , omnibus exam , examination.
